Today on Grintovec nothing new. Tracks of several forum hikers who have gone through quite a few pages of this forum are clearly visible on icy to worn base, depending on experience and place of residence. Some tracks of these brave men and women turn into pathless terrain already below Kokrško sedlo, others a bit higher towards Dolge stene to the right. No tracks lead to the top because people get lost on the way and so current conditions don't reflect the current path picture, but only society's and social problems picture. Everyone put on “those small crampons” and headed to the hill.

I dare say it was windy on top and better days are coming, more on conditions I really can't comment now.

Today on Grintovec super weather. I met only one hiker, and even that one was without crampons. He left them at home because there was no space in the backpack. Therefore there were plenty of little cheeses and yogurts as befits a real mountaineer.

Yesterday I climbed to the saddle/roof of Grintovec. Two snow patches in the hollows. Couple of snowfields on steep parts can be bypassed on lower left side at ~2000m. Snow is southern, even on steep slopes. It gave way unpredictably.
