The summit is not even three kilometers away, but due to the strong zoom every hand tremor is noticeable.

On Saturday everything was as @mirank says. Path from Konc to summit without issues, just the logbook needs replacing.

Hello, I'm interested if you can drive by car to the cargo cableway for Kokrško sedlo?
Thanks, lp

You can! If it's allowed, that's another matter.

When we drove there at the end of May there was no sign, a week later we went to Jermanca and the sign was already up soon after the hut in K Bistrici.

No, now I think you've screwed itmežikanje
A bigger question is if you can even leave it somewhere these days due to the crowd nasmeh.
About the sign there has been plenty of talk what it means, driving past it is not prohibited for sure.

Today's tour - via ferrata to Češka koča, via Frischauf path to Grintovec, down the same, from ČK on footpath to valley. Weather was cloudy, very windy with gusts.

Possible with regular hiking boots. Need to bypass 3 snow patches on the path, requires some minor mountaineering-climbing experience. Path suitable only for people with some mileage in mountains.

Hello,
interested in snow conditions on the path from Kokrsko sedlo towards Grintovec summit? Is the path normally passable or is winter gear still needed towards the top?

Magroman, goes without winter gear also from Mlinarsko sedlo? Since from there you go past Kokrsko sedlo too. Thanks and good luck

From Mlinarsko you usually don't go to Kokrsko.
Check the post from ˝grifomatika˝ yesterday.
No info on path condition from Mlinarsko sedlo to Grinta.

Regards,

Good luck

From Mlinarsko sedlo towards Grintovec, if you see snow on the north side go back and past the bivouac to Kokrsko sedlo and from there to the summitwink
A bit complicated, but that's how it is for hikers who go to mountains only in summer. Unfortunately, no better answer unless someone firsthand who was there tells you.
Good luck

Magro, you didn't get me... From Kokrsko sedlo to Grintovec summit you can also go past Mlinarsko sedlo if you choose so at the junction (path past bivouac). But from DrM's question I'm still not sure if he meant the path over Streha or not, so I wouldn't say offhand that it goes without gear. Anyway, over Streha yes without, via Mlinarsko apparently we don't know wink
Good luck smile

Hi everyone! This weekend we'd go to Grintovec and Skuta. Planning a two-day trip with overnight at Zavetišče Pavleta Kemperla. Can you help how best to do the given tour considering we go with kids (13,16). Is there a water source on the path or do we carry it for two days? Thanks in advancesmile

Lots of posts about Grintovec and Skuta on this site, so go to the Search trips option where there are detailed descriptions of both peaks with all options. Have water with you, it's summer and quite hot, there are other things you can leave out of the backpack due to weightvelik. Buy KSA map or download image from the web because the loop you plan suggests itself unless you want to avoid some secured parts if you have never done such a thing, and consider if this is your first alpine ascent this might be too much height difference if not done before. Good luck!
