Yeah vasko, it was nice.
I had a slip going down the gully. Barely stopped (broke both poles - crampon heels) 10cm S-facing snow below but icy.mrk pogled
Otherwise gorgeous.nasmeh

Skymark if you fly off better the pole breaks than you. How far does the car crawl? Thx. Good luck.

Thanks redbull. It was quite a trip, I enjoyed it maximally. Once you're surrounded by the beauty of Kamnik-Savinja peaks, you kinda forget the length of the hike. Really beautiful views around. I think everyone should experience this at least once mežikanje

Bravo Pero, the effort was rewarded and you enjoyed all the charms and the winter embrace of the mountains. There was probably no crowd and it was an oasis of peacewink. What are the conditions like to Kokrsko sedlo and then from there to the top?

Well, what do I know, there is pretty hard snow and it's fine. I went to the saddle without crampons, but it would be smart to put them on for that last part by the wall to the saddle (but the tracks were well trodden). Then from the saddle onward without crampons to where the 'flat' part ends and you start climbing. On the roof up there were about 3 variants of tracks (each a bit in its own direction), more or less all pretty straight up. You can of course make your own track smile Traversing was quite dangerous though - I felt it, I slipped twice with my right foot because it sank in nicely especially where there was more windblown snow. That scared me good and I realized I gotta stop playing at traversing and go more straight up or a bit sideways wink
I met about 3 hikers (not exactly a rush), and some Croats from Zagreb had a mountaineering school (learning ice axe arrest, belayed climbing on certain sections, etc.) - winter room at Cojzova occupied biggrin

For now it looks like the weekend will be nice, so something in KSA again cool

I wonder if anyone has a fresh photo from the saddle towards Grintovec,?

I'm interested in snow conditions over Čez Jame,... or if someone has been there and knows the conditions, especially regarding the rocky steps if they are in snow or bare,...?

thanks, Muša

Today on Grintovec through Grapa over the caves. Started at 7 and took 6.5 hours for the trip. Conditions in the lower part to Cojzova hut were super because it was still frozen. At entry to the gully around 10 the base was already quite soft, so recommend early start. The gully is filled and has no rocky steps. On the path through Tasko noticed Cassin crampons. Left them there because figured someone would look for them and no more space in pack. They are where some fixed cables by the path. Added a pic too.

GOOD LUCK! wink

esque, first I have to thank you for the steps over "jame" you made just before me and my buddy, and I also agree with your description. We three also found crampons from Konc to Cojzova hut, whoever misses them let them message me on the forum, because I took them and I'm keeping them for the owner.

No problem, I liked it sinking a bit to build condition smile Otherwise we caught a really fantastic day for the ascent. Great that you rescued those crampons!
