carniolus goes even easier in the dark smile otherwise the path is icy for the last 150 m of elevation before the saddle and a bit beyond smile

Sharpedge path is no problem....still take crampons...if it freezes they'll be right useful on the roof...oh and a bit before the saddle the path is quite icy in places...happy hiking :-)

Wonderful pictures, congrats. I was also at the summit 22.12.2014, really nice, views super, wind blowing just "a little" for the feeling.. Shame there's not much snow, not 100% winter ascent..Safe steps to all.

Today on Grintovec quite a few hikers, went from the direction of Kamniška Bistrica almost to the BP saddle, a bit before the saddle icy, caution not amiss.
From the saddle onwards crampons on, morning nice, then strong wind started blowing, get dressed, foggy and snow on top.
Met three guys from Gorenjska, on the way back chatted a bit and ate in the winter room.

Yesterday's Grintovec from Konca - halfway to Kokrško saddle, hard frozen snow starts. Like that all the way to the top. Snow doesn't sink in. On the descent, unpleasant cold wind blowing.

Some hundred meters after Dom in Kamniška Bistrica, right after first parking, sign for prohibited traffic posted.

Quite a lot in my opinion. The first jump is probably a bit more rocky. Maybe I'll be in it tomorrow.

Some snow was visible yesterday from Velike pl. It pulls me up there tomorrow too via that gully.
