Igor, can you tell me if that gully that narrows towards the ridge is on the eighth picture? When I was there it was so icy in the middle of the narrow part that we had to rappel down a bit. Now I see it could even be done with just one ice axe.

After reading Igor's report on yesterday's ascent to Jalovec and closer examination of my photos taken on Špik, I "spotted" them. From 10 km distance it would be hard to recognize them, but they weren't unnoticed. Nice regards!

Oh, really nice tour. And nice photos. How long did it take for ascent and descent? I think guidebook says 10 to 12 hours (via Jalovec Glacier). Is that right? Thanks!

Time is not important anyway because you need to enjoy the nice day, otherwise Planica - Jalovec 5 hours, descent from the summit and with skis 2 hours, Rozka just a tiny bit more.

Today we (Juš, Jože, Iztok, Bojan A. and Nataša) also went to Kristal. We went through the winter chimney and over the "roof" to the ridge, from there a jump to the top. We descended via the normal route where two cretinous Italians were digging new ski tracks and burying us with pieces of snow and ice... It was good though! Maybe Bojan will add something?
