But this jprim is really incredible. First she obviously managed to get both riddle doctors off the forum, now maybe with her stupid statements she'll succeed with the photo doctor too. I hope at least this won't succeed. jprim, one piece of advice. If you have no clue about unkah, because you know the mountains too little and not about photography, because you have no knowledge and good camera, better be quiet. Will it go?

My explanation of the image creation wasn't malicious, since not everyone knows everything. Me neither. For really cool pics you need really good equipment, which I can't afford by any chance. And a lot of knowledge, I count myself as a beginner, since there are a huge number of different areas, from macro to telezoom, portraits...... Each one is a whole science. No hard feelings to all, I'm staying on the forum. I try with the pics, because it's one of my hobbies. Nice regards to all

pikec1 wonderful photo - congrats, especially since we know that today in mountains conditions weren't optimal for good photos (diffuse light, but still you pulled off 1A.

I also congratulate you on the super photo, pikec. We too enjoyed ourselves yesterday on Sleme and watched quite a few photographers who were catching suitable moments for nice shots. The weather was favorable to us, just like the autumn colors.

On Sleme it was really nice on Saturday... My wish to admire glowing golden-yellow larches with Jalovec backdrop came true. And something else turned up... I mean meeting and 'instructions' from pikca1. Have a nice autumn everyone.

... maybe one more useful information - ... if you're visiting Jalovec these days and choose Tamar as start, the road to Tamar valley from Planica is formally closed, according to local rules the fine if caught by inspectors is 40 EUR. Now that elections are over, ... maybe someone suggests to new authorities to make exception or relief for hikers going early to mountains and further from valley !?

Why should we be the exception?

Because the day is shorter.

Looks like there are few inspectors there, since on Monday quite a few drove up and parked in Tamar too. I, the idiot, stick to the rules and then sniff and inhale the stink and smoke. So if going on foot, better take the western path reserved for walkers. Otherwise, I'm not against the non-use of cars on mountain paths. But since many don't follow the rules, it would be better to open the path when less crowded. If they really don't want driving up, just set a barrier before the mountain path. Then we walkers don't have to hear and smell these steel monsters.

On this barrier there was a tragic accident some time ago. It was set up without the necessary permits and that's why it's now open.

The fairest would be to start charging a high toll, e.g. 20 EUR. Then there would be as many cars as now, the valley wouldn't be overburdened, hikers would have the option to decide - if it's really urgent, you'll pay, if not, go on foot. And pedestrians, walk on the footpath which is closer, not on the road, because it's longer and motorists hinder you. And because you're angry like Lothar that you decided to go on foot, you deliberately hinder motorists, don't want to step aside. That's really not necessary.
