I really don't see a reason here why they'd take this wonderful part of the valley from pedestrians and cyclists. If there are cars among them, and the road stays gravel, they'll be dusted to hell. Similar to Vrata, though there, hand on heart, it's really far on foot.
And those 45 minutes aren't that far. We just warm up for the ascent to Jalovec by the hut. Dejan probably not even that.
Tone, as for those 20 plus years, I'm already thinking now that I'll slowly give up the "higher" goals and go for lower ones. Sadly, that's how it is.

Example from last winter: I went from Radovna to Triglav so many times that when snow melted in spring I automatically parked in Kurja vas and changed into gojzarji. You get used to it, but true when older you want closer. Not that young myself anymore
