Super tour! I walked it in reverse direction, really wonderful spots, already when you drive to Log pod Mangrtom you can just stare around at the mighty valley guardians. When descending from Škrbina za Gradom to Čez Brežice saddle, protections on pic 15 were partially damaged and descent was quite scary (already above that part everything was crumbling). Now they've obviously fixed the trail, gotta check personally how it is

We four also walked it on 22nd August. We were satisfied although clouds gathered just at Brežice saddle. I think three years ago they fixed the cables. That part on pic 15 is now fine. Some peg is bent somewhere. Otherwise no issues.

Has anyone hiked up from Flori recently? Any fallen trees blocking passage?
From 38th hairpin of Vršiška road it's very hard to reach Mlinarica stream bed exit along the hunting trail due to fallen trees in forest.

On 5.9. we went from Florija towards the Goličica wall and Jalovska škrbina, returned past Zavetišče pod Špičko. Both marked paths are well maintained, no fallen trees.

Today we went up from Tamar over Kotovo sedlo to the top and back same path. Path not demanding at all like some whine and shout, nor exposed!?
Otherwise super conditions and nicely secured and tidy path

Really great. At the top calm and warm, we stayed up there more than half an hour, but it annoyed me that I was without a camera. Ozebnik is very wide, meaning lots of snow and passable deep into summer.

On Saturday bad weather, wind, cold, snow - Sunday looks better but windy, cold. Conditions should be OK - Ozebnik hard - higher up possibly crusty and dangerous due to new snow and wind.
p.s. Planica/Tamar will have limited access due to ski jumps this weekend (20.3.) from Monday onwards closed.

Thanks KJ for quick reply! Plan was to reach Kotovo sedlo bivouac on Saturday then Sunday early morning down to Ozebnik and to Jalovec. Does that mean we can't get to the parking by car?
There shouldn't be much snow, 2-3 cm.

This weekend access to Planica and thus to Tamar is hermetically closed, RTV source, so likely you won't get in. I know from my own experiences a few years ago, when already on Friday at 4 am I had big troubles, 2 hours arguing with security to let me in, so already very late for Ozebnik - rocks falling. Now also COVID bubble. If you go anyway, good luck.

The winter chimney won't hold a couple more days. From the chimney onwards to the ridge there's already a lot bare.
