Wow, am I really seeing snow on the side ridge of Travnik and below Šite? Or optical illusion?

Thanks for the effort, Zlatko. It's probably just optics, Marjan. But there's still one patch of snow on the scree below Kola.

@geppo: Super pics of the descent part from summit to Kotovo sedlo. Those who haven't gone down there yet can see from pics that this descent ain't no joke mainly because of loose stuff on slabs and poor pro in upper part. I went up myself with buddy a week ago down through Kotovo sedlo then Škrbina. It's true that the Goličica wall ain't easy descent either, only pitons and few of them. Real kingly tour that sticks in memory.

Nice day yesterday up there, others have already written enough about the paths ...

Hi, does anyone know if access to the Vršič-Špička Shelter path from Limarica (path start in Limarica) is possible?

But there are anchors made for abseil, if I'm not mistaken Tone (from Lopa)

I think not, Dejan. As far as I know, anchors are in Šite, not in Lopa, since apart from dangerous scree and Mačja police which Jovan mentions, there are no major difficulties.

Hi. Has anyone been to Jalovec recently? What are the conditions in Ozebnik for skiing?

After the last snowfall certainly no one has been even below the entrance to Ozebnik yet.

Does anyone have GPX track to Jalovec via Ozebnik?

in that couloir you lose your GPS Otherwise yeah, this question really surpasses some previous questions, I'd rank it top of the nonsense. But to the parking at the ski jumps, will it work?

Guys (Davidd) - why provoke with such questions? I don't see the point unless the question is serious, which I doubt. Then just bitter debate. In current conditions and in the couloir only a few very well-trained individuals go there, the rest stick to top tours lower down or elsewhere. I've never missed 2k because of that. And this weekend was horrific. If that doesn't make us think then... Stay safe!

The question was serious, I'm interested where this path goes in winter. Understandably no signal there.

You can attempt the ascent via Jalovec glacier and higher up through the chimney. But the ascent to Jalovec is demanding even in dry conditions. If asking just out of curiosity, ok, but if because you want to try it, probably all forum folks here advise against it. Choose easier winter approaches, gather experience and knowledge, gradually tackle harder ones.

Put more folksy: You don't even need to look around much for where the glacier is, you'll crash right into it, since tracks don't go anywhere else (except in fog!)
