Yesterday (8.10.) from the direction of Zavetišče pod Špičkom. You step on first snow on the ledges below Veliki Ozebnik summit - non-problematic (snow is southern, and exactly where the path is secured with cables).
Here and there then some patch on the ascent to the ridge, but can mostly avoid them. Most problematic spot on the ridge, just before the junction from Kotovo sedlo path - snow here (especially morning) already quite hard, slip risk. Problematic part relatively short. No pics unfortunately.

Today from Planica through ozebnik to the top.
To ozebnik top good conditions, on descent just right soft for fast drop. But need to cross lots of avalanche debris under ozebnik. Then two paths visible to top, we picked "summer", snow to ridge just enough, at certain spot already mix with rocks. eek

Summit quite windy, otherwise views all around. By our estimate 7 people on top today. nasmeh

Most of current avalanche debris under ozebnik is result of large rockfall from below Jalovec summit. Mix of rocks and snow hurtled down ice toboggan. Hope it stays put now.

Boštjan has already described our yesterday's tour in picture and word, so I'll be a bit shorter.
I really don't know how long mountain Abercrombies will still affect visits to the mountains. I don't know if anywhere else in the world you have to walk kilometers on a nice flat road to reach the foot of the mountain. Due to that, well warmed up, we soon encountered the second obstacle. It was a huge avalanche of packed snow, almost impossible to walk on, let alone ski. Two hikers ahead of us had trampled the ice crust and eased our progress on it. The next problem was rotten snow above the saddle, only in the steep part continuing was easier, the ridge itself posed no problems. For all these obstacles we needed 4.45h to sit on the crystal summit. A meter below the top in complete shelter one could almost doze off...
