Yesterday sunrise ascent over the hut and past the big glacier. Path ok, but constant caution needed from the moment you step on the big glacier. Thanks to the two random people who kept company. Nice day. Luka

Saturday ascent to Jalovec via Kotovo sedlo.
Arrival at 5.30 in Planica, 45 min to Tamar and then on to Kotovo sedlo. Throughout the ascent we are accompanied by Ponce and Mojstrovke, ahead always the final goal - Jalovec.
Path to the saddle pleasant and technically easy, climbing part also not strenuous. First "difficulties" await us at 2300 m a.s.l., where I also left my poles. I expected more exposure, but it still requires focused steps, especially downhill. On the summit around 15 people, most go via Škrbina, so it is passable even though it is supposed to be closed.

Po Hodnik - The path from Tamar over Jalovška škrbina is closed, from Zadnja Trenta and Vršič the path that also leads over the škrbina is open. But maybe they walk over the closed one too.

Yesterday I started in Planica, over Tamar and Kotovo sedlo. Conditions and views excellent. No crowd at the top - but a 77-year-old guy impressed me, who came from Vršič and was a bit disappointed because he needed 5 hours, which was 1 hour worse than 12 years ago . I wish him many more successful climbs!
Descent over scree, which is scree only in theory and I advise against it - constant search for suitable ground which you never find. After last avalanche lots of sharp big stones, sometimes "washed out" base with little fine sand ... in short torment. At the end you make peace with poorly visible track that desperate predecessors made and hope to reach as soon as possible the path under Kotovo sedlo.
