I was there on 4.5. from Roblek and didn't need equipment. There was still some snow, but not problematic.

Yesterday, a quarter to eight at Žagana Peč, we left the car. There wasn't only one by the road, but we were the only ones going from here to Kal Ridge. I had the approach completely blurred in my memory, as I last walked this path a quarter century ago. To the hunting hut the path is really pleasant and well traceable. Above it, it narrows a bit in the nice beech forest and stays like that through the larch forest that accompanies you for just over ten minutes. On the clearing among sparse bushes there's lots of flowers and in half an hour you reach the gully, where you can decide;** follow it to the top, (meanwhile cross the marked path that goes left over Kalce to Škrbina 1870, right to Kalška Gora) and continue steeply to the rock barrier, where you hit old faded marks, remains of cables and a bunch of pegs, at least half damaged, that bring you to the ridge. In dry rock even without using these aids the difficulty doesn't reach full UIAA II. From there of course continue on the marked ridge path to the top of K. Ridge.** The other option is to immediately follow the crowd of cairns that take you far right to the junction Kalce-Kal.Gora-Kal.Ridge-Kok.Sedlo. No snow on the whole path, except some snow tongues that reach over the path on the s. side of Kalška Gora on descent to Kok. Sedlo, but they pose no danger, in need they can be safely bypassed. Let me thank some forumers at this opportunity who advised me the day before about current snow conditions, my back is especially grateful to them, as the iron stayed home. The mountain didn't have many visitors, except a small group of Kamničans from the Krvavec direction. Again it was warm and my fingers weren't cold

Late afternoon from Kokra direction, under Roblek to Kal Ridge. Rain caught me under the pasture, so I arrived at the hunting hut already wet, shorts, t-shirt, windbreaker, gloves all wet. Waited more than half an hour until the thunderstorm moved away. When it did, I started further in light rain, which intensified higher up and rained moderately almost to the top of Kal Ridge. Nothing bothered me, I wasn't cold either, the refreshment was just right and got rid of the sweat. No wind at the top and good views. Descended the same way, due to the washed path not even once on the ground. Overall excellent.

Hello, Maybe someone knows if there's still snow on the path to the top from Planina Jezerca side? On the camera from Krvavec the surroundings look snow-free and from Brnik with naked eye the top looks bare too. Tnx!

Today we were up there, some snow patches blown here and there, but they cause no problems or need for winter gear

From Žagana peč to Kalc it was trampled. There was less new snow than I expected. On Kalci maybe 10cm new on old base. Further quite a bit of drifted snow (up to 60cm), lower down frozen. On the ridge blown to old snow which is frozen and hard as concrete, a bit noticeable. Turned back soon, visibility only a couple of meters.

Quite a long mileage and nice whiteness. Interesting how, from yesterday's yellow (desert dust), the horizon has become pure white.

Yes, today or yesterday I think it would pull more towards yellow.

14.6.2021 from Roblek where livestock is already grazing. To Dolge Njive decently wintered path though chains soft, in the rock something happening (as for thousands of years). On Dolge young lambs jumping, further white snow patches amid thinning scrub. To saddle more, on Ridge still winter-spring. Blew so hard I thought it'd carry me off. No winter gear needed. Good to have non-slip snow shoes.

Today from Zvoh to Dolgo Njivo and on to Kalški ridge mostly bare, no winter gear needed, return via Vrh Korena and Jež ridge also bare. Grintovec roof also looks passable without winter gear.

The keeper of Cojzeva hut told me yesterday 23/6 on my question about conditions on the path to Kalška Peak and further to Kalški Ridge kindly: "The first part of the path to Kalška Peak is snowy. So the path above the scree. Snow is hard, at least in the morning. Without ice axe and crampons it won't go. The path further is according to our info dry except rare patches, without avalanches".
