Ogo, nice tour, even nicer pics. Congrats. Do you know the conditions on the south side of Planjava? Tomorrow I plan ascent past Korošica to Škarje towards Planjava and descent over Silver Saddle. Or would you think it better in the opposite direction?

@ogo, thanks for the pics. Was on Planjava today; unfortunately fog accompanied me from Škarije onwards, and since I didn't feel like tiptoeing on the snowfields, I descended the way I ascended.

I'm curious what the situation is from Kamnik saddle towards Brana; are crampons and ice axe needed or is the path possible without them?

Path from Kamniška Bistrica to Kamnik Saddle stays the same, hut at Kamnik Saddle doesn't. Outwardly almost nothing new, except solar cells on roof, inside though; "sanded" tables, chairs and benches, new counter, new stove, new kitchen, new doors, new toilets, refurbished rooms with new beds, pillows, blankets and bathrooms, sometimes even with internet hookup. Lots already done, but still much to do. Food and staff remain bp.
