If two weeks ago from Kamniška Bistrica valley towards the saddle there was practically no snow on the path, then probably no new snow fell in the meantime

Why are you all philosophizing? Today you all happily walked past while we struggled with sawing and whitewashing larches, no one asked us ,,GUYS ,,THIRSTY?,, all walked past happy that someday there will be new benches and tables here. Last night we were at Kamnik Saddle. First time I was in the mountains at night and it was very nice. But it was also cold. We encountered completely winter conditions, even though there's no snow anymore. It was blowing strongly and freezing. The view of Kamnik and Ljubljana was magnificent. The starry sky was also wonderful.

Yesterday at Kamnik Saddle, great weather, slightly windy, but...... no panic! Couldn't go higher due to snow conditions, because no one wanted to walk on snow. Otherwise the tour is great, beautiful and demanding.

Does anyone know how passable the path is from Klemenčeva jama over Škarje and Planjava to Kamnik Saddle at Okrešelj? Based on MaticP's pictures, I think it would be ok.

On Wednesday I was at Savinja Saddle. I observed the path you describe. From Klemenča Cave to Škarje complete winter gear is mandatory. I don't know about ascent to Planjava, descent to Kamnik Saddle and further to Okrešelj is again wintery. North side of Brana is still decently snowy. Careful, so that "Okrešelj express" doesn't happen!

First picture from Saturday, the other two from yesterday. Unfortunately I can't send you an audio recording of the drummer on the north side of Planjava and Brana from Saturday afternoon, when we drank beer  at Okrešelj. In the north wall of Ojstrica another band plays but almost certainly the same music.
