Saturday morning wasn't supposed to promise good weather conditions yet, so my colleague and I set off a bit later towards the saddle. It was incredibly nice, cloudless with real summer weather. The forerunner trampled well all the way to Pastirci, from there on we with combined forces, especially with a good mountain-Kamnik runner, trampled to Kamnik Lodge. In places we were even waist-deep in snow. South sides are dangerous, the opposite on north ones. We checked the further conditions towards Brana. The base would be good, as it's already smoothed, mostly virgin wind-blown white. Unfortunately time ran out, but the mountain will always wait.

Today with a colleague I visited Kamnik Saddle.
Snow starts somewhere in Klin, track to Pastirci was made, from there on mixed. If you're lucky you go on top, often sink to waist. On return snow fully crusted, crunching hard to ground.
Otherwise great sunny day, almost no wind.
