Is the path from Stanič past Rž to Kredarica passable without winter gear?

What about back directly from Kredarica to Krma?

Today first time in Triglav's kingdom.
Start from end of road on Pokljuka, past (sadly) abandoned hut and stable at Konjščica, to Studorski preval. Then visual delight on easy path around Tosc to Velo polje. Velo polje with surrounding peaks is to me personally the most fairy-tale visual, better said real fantasy world in Slovenia. Worthy LOTR locationvelik nasmeh!!
From there first time turned right to Konjsko sedlo and at fork directly to Kredarica. Those few sections with pegs and cables real refreshment.
At top wonderful views to N and S. Bombasticmežikanje

Path nicely maintained, marked, technically at least to me not demanding...but long. Whole path 23km. But two pegs from cable torn out on second cable section from Vodnikov dom to Konjsko sedlo. No tragedy thoughjezik
Morning on Konjščica. Cancelled.1
Bohinj basin still rests, SBG nicely illuminated.2
Pure poetry!!3

Yesterday (Wednesday, 20 September) from Krma to Kredarica and back. Started a bit after noon. Thin snow cover started at Vrtača, but path to Prgarca was no problem at all. Above Prgarca quite wet, stream from melting snow ran along the path all the way to Ulice. There the first serious track began, which on the slope east of Vrh Snežne konte was somewhat shallower, but here and there between rocks it broke through well over knees.

Kredarica already operating in the winter mode I like. Meteorologist kindly brought hot tea, which suited me perfectly. Triglav somewhat misty from north side, but tracks still lead to the top. If I assessed correctly, at current snow amount the protections should still be visible.

Jumped also to Vrh Kredarice and a few steps further towards Rž. Views were equally magnificent as the day before at Macesnovec. Only towards northwest the mountains were wrapped in low clouds.

Return went fast. Due to approaching evening cold the snow hardened a bit and didn't break through anymore. But surface still a bit soft, so steps were soft and knees didn't suffer too much. The stream on path above Prgarca also dried up. At dusk I was at the car. Crampons and ice axe stayed in backpack.

On drive towards Mojstrana a young roe deer jumped in front of the car in the dark first one, few hundred meters further another. Both behaved the same. Waited until I was quite close with the car, then hop across the road. Behavior that could cost them lives. Luckily drove slowly and saw them from afar. Nice animals!

Some pics again for friends.

Parked at Korito. Road from top of the hill onwards from Korito very bad. Maybe for a terrain vehicle. Before Leso Lake.

Yesterday visiting our highest mountain and meteorological station.
Regarding the current "conditions" in the country, I don't know how much sense it makes to describe the current conditions on the path, so I'd rather attach some pics and a video, for all of us who love to admire the colors of morning in the highlands, so we don't forget what's waiting for us when we overcome the current situation.

But I can say I witnessed the supply of the hut or meteorological station by the Slovenian army, which first brought 6 soldiers by helicopter, who then carried each load (wood, gas, food etc...) to the hut while the helicopter went for new load. Really diligent and professional, bravo guys and Slovenian army.

You can watch the video of the beautiful morning by clicking on this sentence nasmeh

P.S.: road to Lesa is "good" for those who know the road and know what awaits, for all others, Korito "it is" mežikanje

Ha, the weatherman drew it nicely - he can see it constantly through the windownasmeh
Now he doesn't even need to go to the weather hut - just looks from the room and reports to the valley...

Could someone tell me how long it takes to hike from Kredarica to the top of Triglav. I'm not fast on exposed terrain, so I'm interested how much hiking/climbing there is, to organize for next summer.

Thanks for your answer.

About 1h + some extra either for photographing or "fiddling" with the cable. With possible crowds it can drag on (more than 1h30 shouldn't take you).
Good luck

If you're early/late, so no tourist queues, probably need around 1h15. Faster, more skilled, up in 45min-1h (meaning mountaineers, not runners). If it gets jammed, 2h or 2h30 is totally realistic.
