Has anyone been to Krn these days? I'm interested in the path from Kuhinja pasture and how much snow is left on the summit part, peculiarities? I plan to return via Batognica and past the lake in Lužnica to the starting point. Any info would be very welcome

Mandatory winter gear, but I wouldn't risk it yet, wait another month or so, otherwise call the Gomiščkovo shelter, if they're not open then it's not ready yet, my opinion, I saw it from Mrzli vrh and it's completely snow-covered.

Yesterday on Krn, from planina Kuhinja, a bit below the summit some patches of snow. At the top +20°C, no wind. Gomišček shelter closed, as well as the hut at planina Kuhinja. Temperature on return at planina Kuhinja +28°C, otherwise excellent tour

Hi.
Anyone have maybe some info, how's the path from Planina Zaprikraj over Vratca and Krnčica ridge to Krn??Planning to do this tour Sunday. If returning back to Planina Kuhinja or lake in Lužnica, would it be far back to start??

The path is normally passable. From your potential targets back to the start it's loooooong.... Better to go from Krn via Krnska plošča to Drežnica and then back to Drežniške Ravne by car. On the path from Krn to Drežnica, about half an hour's walk above Drežnica village, there is a junction to Ravne. I think it's about an hour's walk. The most elegant solution is of course two cars. One at Planina Kuhinja, the other at Drežniške Ravne. Good luck. The whole loop tour is beautiful, and also time-consuming.

We were also on the 16th on Krn.
Disaster, host has no beer. Offers non-alcoholic beer and schnapps instead. 
On top added: "why should I have it?"
So we had to hike all day with a blister in the stomach.
