Tomorrow it will be mostly cloudy and foggy in most of the Julian Alps, especially midday and in the afternoon light rain in places. Elsewhere there will be fewer clouds, the least in the eastern part of our mountains. But peaks will be in clouds in many places. Mostly moderate southwest wind will blow. Temperature at 1500 m around 11, at 2500 m around 7 °C.
So definitely foggy.

Regarding the data, one should rely mainly on meteo it, in your case meteo it krn, regarding wind speed (vento); according to these data there is no panic, as you state (Markus 79)...

Thanks  , yeah, that Italian weather site my colleague already recommended to me; it's a pretty solid forecast, so I think tomorrow after a long time I'll see it from top down again (Krn) . Best regards.

Today's published weather forecasts on the internet for tomorrow are very colorful: from rain to sun without a cloud. Best put foot forward and check the conditions, we can always turn back, and we're not made of sugar to melt. No thunderstorms anywhere in sight. I'm going to Jalovec, hope at least some sun. If not, I'll be sunshine to myself .

Yesterday (5.10) I was on Krn, start from Lepena, past Krn lake and then to the top. Weather almost all the time cloudy, no precipitation, from last junction to top also some fog in patches. On descent same weather, at the lake even a bit of sun. In short very nice tour, yesterday without rain, wind and almost without sun

According to description 7.50 hours to Krn. Depends on fitness. I took 12 and a half hours with all stops.

I plan to go Tuesday afternoon via Komarča to Komna, Wednesday past Krn Lake to the summit and via Batognica back to Bohinj. I'm already waiting for Komna and hope the weather holds

Wow, I envy that view, I still owe a trip report. With colleague despite not too promising forecast 6.10.2012 at 9:30 start from Planina Kuhinja, summit was in fog the whole way so couldn't see how far it still was, fog the whole path but lifted not at ground so ok to go, midway to Batognica even sun showed, but Krn resisted sun rays, no problems we reached G. Zavetišče which was still open, refreshed, went to summit where there was strong wind and cold, gloves would have been good, then other way Krn Lake-Hut in Lepena back to valley, above lake even sun appeared... anyway nice varied path. Next time hope crowned with views and sun too. Goal mainly achieved, Krn conquered

Cloudy foggy cover lifted above Planina Kuhinja to top of Kožljak, then sun appeared. Snow soft and sinking, except summit where trampled harder and holds well. Views from top though...
