Some photos of Krn, taken today from Matajur. Last night the mountains got a couple more centimeters of snow. Krn is also nicely whitened. Compared to last week, the snow line has moved about 100 m lower. What it was like a week ago, I presented before the Slavist debate.
This time the dark gray-blue sky created a wonderful backdrop for the sparkling whiteness of Krn and neighboring peaks, which glowed more and more with the setting sun. After sunset, the gray blue exploded in pastel shades. Even Photoshop wouldn't have done better.

Darinka4, on Sunday I was on Krn from Kuhinja. Little snow, on the path it starts at cca. 1900 m asl, grass is dry even higher. It was noticeable that it cooled and froze in the night from Saturday to Sunday. Most visitors were without winter gear, crampons came in handy on descent. Beautiful views, quite a crowd (parking lot full), if it had been one degree warmer, we wouldn't have wanted to descend to the valley at all.

When uploading pictures I added that pictures now automatically turn correctly. The picture automatically turns if the file contains data about the image orientation.

Hello! Has anyone been up there already this year? After that snow that fell 30. 12.? Probably the conditions are similar to Darinka's pictures, but still if someone notices I'll be glad for a comment ... Thanks and good luck!
