Exactly as you described. Crowds of tourists, not hikers, swarm to Mojstrovka. I met two girls with flip-flops on their feet. Sometimes it freezes me when I see how equipped they are and in late afternoon hours rush to peaks even with crying kids.

...Little and Big Mojstrovka...Nice day, perfect for Hanzova. Below us sea of mists to Dobrač. Only Slemenova špica stood out all the time. Gloria visible too but too high to see reflection in it. Nice, ciao Majda velik nasmeh

I also climbed MM via Hanzova today. Weather super, just those mists rose above us.

...By force of circumstances late, around 11h barely got parking at Vršič, then surprisingly towards top very few people. To Vratca hot and humid, then clouded over and conditions for hiking pleasantly nice. Few drops rain before summit, at top in sun, views despite clouds nice, and wonderful rainbow formed, on way back just before enjoyable descent on scree bit more real rain…but so what, isn't it luxury to reach car already showered before slipping into fresh dry clothes mežikanje

I plan to visit MM via the southern path and on descent traverse towards Nad Šitom glava. I'm interested in what the path from there to Sleme and Slemenova špica is like (difficulty)? Via Slatnica, not Vratca. Thanks.

Your question is a bit weird: the only way from Šitna Glava to Sl. Špica is descent via Hanzova path (very demanding), at the bottom turn left to Slatnica saddle and then on to Sl. Špica. That part is not demanding, but I think someone confused you?

In my opinion, it's better to hike this path in the opposite direction to what you wrote...
Vršič - Vratca - Slemenova Špica - via Hanzova towards MM - Nad Šitno Glavo - back to Hanzova and to MM top - descent southern path

Oh, exactly that I wanted to know: if this path, which is marked as unmarked on the TNP map, is some other or is it already Hanzova. Thanks to both for the answer. LP

On this wonderful Saturday we used it for a visit to Mala Mojstrovka. We chose the south path. Early morning start from Vršič. The path is super, just on the scree over the gully more caution is needed. Despite the path being quite steep, it offers wonderful views at which you forget the steepness and enjoy. The summit was quite crowded today, both from the south path and the climbing one. The logbook has been full for quite some time, so even on the covers there's no space left nasmeh

The descent was much more fun, as for the last part of the path we treated ourselves to a descent over scree. Then just to Tičarjev dom for the stamp for the transversala mežikanje

Circular route to Mala Mojstrovka (Vršič-Šitna glava-Mala Mojstrovka-south path towards Vršič). The path is overall nice and scenic, only on the part where the path joins the Hanzova path caution is needed (helmet). At Šitna glava we were alone enjoying wonderful views, at Mojstrovka there was a crowd. Nice regards

Today was again a wonderful day for a mountain visit, which we used for Mala Mojstrovka via the south path. Some patches of snow only in Grebenc, which don't make problems, rest of the path practically dry. We had the intention to visit also Velika Mojstrovka, but a snowfield stopped us (in this season crampons necessarily belong in the backpack - we naively thought we won't need them). Still nice day, even nicer views, some wind and not too cold.... pity that such conditions only a couple more days. Otherwise when snow falls, then other even nicer winter fairy tales will begin...
On the way home we drive to Zg. Radovna to gostilna Psnak. Oh, how good buckwheat dumplings with sauerkraut and sausage they serve...

pity, the larches are no longer golden..

We used the wonderful Sunday for a visit to Mala Mojstrovka via south path. Conditions up to today have not changed much; in the valley winter idyll, up high "summer" fairy tale, just at the very summit a bit windy. Snow practically none, tomorrow already all different...

On Sunday I plan to visit MM but does anyone know what the conditions are for hiking (is there a track, icy, avalanche danger...?) or is it possible to ski something already?

Every mountaineer must assess the conditions on the mountain themselves on site and consider their own abilities where they head with proper gear. In high rocky terrain skiing is scarce. Snow is partly windblown, light and unprocessed. Avalanche danger is still II degree on the fourth highest rating scale, as abroad they no longer tolerate or rate the fifth degree due to general hazard and thus zero favorable conditions for mountain visits.

even though most say MM is the little brother I've experienced quite a few things there already and will experience more... Don't take the little ones with the left hand, because it can backfire, as it did to me... From VD it was visibly wind-scoured, the wall is completely white too, I think you'll learn the most fresh info if you go to Vršič and check the conditions there...
And of course don't be stingy and then report! nasmeh

Track is made (also on VM), avalanche risk (my judgment) is small, from Vratc onwards ice axe and crampons come in very handy. Snow in the upper part is really little, but buddy still skied from summit to bottom. Such were the conditions 21.12.

Yesterday really wonderful in the mountains, Pripravniška is already rocky, still a bit of snow missing for Butinarjeva and Zupačičeva, not sure about those.
Morning from Grebenca still partially frozen, but doable without crampons, with each minute the base got softer as the sun was really scorching..
On the way back of course slushy, quite a few visitors.
