I'm wondering if anyone knows if the hut on Snežnik is open?

This weekend I'd head to Snežnik, curious what the conditions are? How much snow already, how passable the path if anyone knows.

Last Friday my friend and I were up there.
We went from Loška dolina over Gašperjev hrib. Had to leave car a bit lower than usual, at 1300m a.s.l. about 15cm hard snow.
Snow depth steadily increases with height, but conditions to around 1600m quite soft, snow not too hard until last pitch except top. Last pitch has drifts, dense fog bothered us (visibility 20-30m). Due to drifts and sinking snow gaiters highly recommended, no crampons. Top about 40cm snow.
Visibility as usual very poor.
Last two months up five times, visibility good only once.
Too little snow for ski touring, waiting next batchnasmehof snow.
Good forecast this week, so who goes up probably rewarded with nice view.

The hut is open every weekend during the season (until 15 October), in winter when the weather is nice. Maybe it's worth calling the number above.
Otherwise, right next to the hut there's a small bivouac where we can shelter from cold and wind.

Hut on top is closed, but winter room is open. To the top it's snow-free, no trace of snow anywhere. It was like that on Thursday (19.11).
Nice trip.

Today I was up again, no snow left anywhere. In one week from real winter to temps over 10 degrees. Valley fog and cold, top sun and nice view (temp inversion).
Hope this weather doesn't continue and cold sets in.

Yesterday about 10cm snow on Snežnik top. Snow starts below 1500m, but just traces. Surprisingly lots of people, counted six on the path.

Tomorrow I plan to go up. From home, Snežnik forests look snow-covered, summit not visible.

On Snežnik quite some snow fallen, starts before Leskova dolina (15cm). Road good to Gašperjev hrib turnoff, beyond only winter gear. I got higher with good winter tires but stuck 1km before. Hard to turn car. Recommend chains.
Summit 30-40cm snow.

Today on Snežnik it was simply wonderful. On Sviščaki in the morning -17 degrees, but once the sun rose it was pleasant despite real frost, almost no wind. Snow nice powdery, no ice base below, track well made, no extra winter gear needed except warm boots and clothes. Less snow than expected (maybe max new 30cm). At the top pure dark blue sky. Views not to Julians or Kvarner due to lower humid/smoggy layer (don't know Slovenian term - we say "foškija"velik nasmeh).
For a long time in such conditions I like to go to Snežnik and with nice powdery snow circle via Mali Snežnik to cross road and then left to Sviščaki. But today I turned back, because on the slope of M. Snežnik there was quite a bit of windblown snow which is not so light, and trudging the trail (up to one's ass) was too exhausting. (Pics left in hut, forgot cameramrk pogled. No worry, Slavko has it, I'll pick it up next time.) Hut open over holidays except 25.12.

The road is regularly plowed and gritted, but don't overdo it, as the spread gravel/sand quickly sinks into the packed snow.
So in principle there shouldn't be problems if we drive carefully and without rushing.

p.s.
winter equipment mandatory!

now probably the sinkhole a bit below the summit is not yet filled with snow, nothing is secured from the Cerknica side, at least on 1 November it wasn't and it's very dangerous
