Some went to high mountains, some climbed in Izpolnjeni želji, we cheerfully went to Mrzlica. Friendly mountain for all occasions and seasons.
Day was friendly, nature generous. With colors as well as fruits.

Just had to hop to Mrzlica (1122m).
Waited for this whole work week. Worth it, recommend, also due to cute girls serving excellent tea and famous blueberry strudel.

Evening before 2nd Advent Sunday hikers and PD Mislinja and PD Slovenj Gradec ladies attended 20th jubilee St. Nicholas night hike to Mrzlica. Start at Podmeja pass (725m) between Savinja valley and Zasavje. In local hunting hut refreshed and prepared (headlamps obligatory, even more that evening due to dense fog poor visibility), then into dark night to Mrzlica, about hour walk. Did not reach Mrzlica summit (1122m) due to poor visibility. Fewer hikers this year than before, probably bad weather, but met many families with kids as St. Nicholas visited rewarding good children, devils brought switches to naughty.

Where are those times with snow to knees, frost crunching under feet. That was St. Nicholas hike one remembers and wants again, not walking mud staring fog.

I'd say (don't know, because it was my first time on Mrzlica) otiv yeah, that the atmosphere was completely different many years ago, and not just because of the snow... Overall, there were better times... (hehe talking like I'm already dunno how old)

Nice day for ascent to Mrzlica. Icy only a bit before summit and on stairs to hut. Hut crowded but excellent food and good service. Views around fantastic.

Really a nice day (7. 1.), quite wonderful in the morning, after 12 it started clouding over.
From Hrastnik over Klobuk, back over Ravne is just the right path for maintaining fitness.
As Lidija wrote - the path is really well marked.
