This morning the path was dark and foggy. After 7am probably the same..
Otherwise all dry, some trace remains for weeks on the shady side around the hut... For example..

On the last day of the year three friends besides the classic tour to Pleša conquered the highest - Suhi vrh. Conditions on the summit or from 1000m onwards foggy, cold weather, constantly 5-10 cm snow. At moments strong bora blew, despite all beautiful day for us. Up the steep, down the gentle, below Suhi vrh visited bivouac right under it. Wish all hikers and alpinists many successful and safe ascents in the coming year.

Today I decided and went to visit Nanos a bit. Snow around 10-20cm, the track icy in places, so some (4-point) crampons are not amiss. On the top no strong bora, but temperature below freezing. Safe steps to all!
I'm also attaching a couple of pics :-)

After a few days back on Nanos. From parking
to top along scree. Some snow from base to treeline. Further just a sample of snow. On Nanos real spring, below icy embrace!

Crazy, what's with the weather, years ago we
were up there around April, valley spring,
top still snowdrifts and ice on transmitter
and forest, proof that climate
changes have seriously messed up human life!!

Has anyone checked the path to Vojkova koča from Gradišče past Hieronym? In valley where trees along path, probably no ice, higher not so much trees to fall, more meadows.
Also thinking about path from Vipava past Abrama and on to Vojkova koča - has anyone tried there?

Wait until the mountain paths of this area are checked by pathmarkers or expert members of the PZS Paths Commission. Only then will a report on the state of the mountain paths be issued, until then the PZS KZP recommendations apply, published on the PZS website.

I'd go check it out if I were you. Given how it looked here, I wouldn't expect any special problems, but if it seems dangerous to you, you can always turn back. Officially it's closed, yeah.

Last week I went from the hunting hut towards Heironym, there was nothing there anyway. As for the ice, it started at Razdrtem, lower down there wasn't any.

Despite gloomy weather and light rain, the afternoon drew me from Razdrtem to Nanos. Usually I start along the logging road from the parking at the former landfill, but this time the vehicle stayed soon after the water intake, because from there on fallen trees are on the path. When I push through to the parking I realize my mistake, as the pine forest through which I plan to go shows an apocalyptic image. On the forest logging road everything that could fall has fallen.
Stubbornness and persistence overcome all obstacles via detours through branches, thorns and blackberries, I break through some three hundred meters, after which conditions normalize instantly.
Rain turns to snow just below the summit. On descent in a real snow squall, for a few moments through the snowflake curtain appears the scarlet reflection of the setting sun on the sea. Nice!
I return on the marked path, on which there's one single obstacle. Fallen scrub just above the meadow above Razdrtem, which can be easily bypassed.
