Yesterday on Kordeževa glava. Quite a few visits - mainly skiers from both sides. Path trampled, 20 cm new snow on a meter and a half base . Protected path still snowy and dangerous for slipping. Weather on top cloudy, wintry, not too freezing with light wind. On top Carinthian debate with neighbors on the other side.

May 1st on Peca from Topla valley over Knipsovo sedlo. Path without particularities, snow starts 15 min below saddle where slope eases. First left to Končnikov vrh with some Austrian ski tourers, then back to saddle. To Peca only footprints - ours lead over Velika glava. To Dom na Peci well trodden. Snow yesterday south-facing, no crampons needed. Also visited Mala Peca and King Matjaž cave and descended to Topla.

I'm sitting in front of King Matjaž's cave, waiting, they say he's going down to the valley to get some sleep. He greets you all nicely. Hut closed, workers repairing the roof say they haven't found the caretaker.

Yesterday on Peca with youth. Path from Topla over little Peca to Vrh Pece, part from Topla(Fajmut) to little Peca is very sparsely marked.

This time from Črna at 22 h we head to Peca, choose the shortest, but therefore also steep path to Peca. In two hours we are at the hut. Warm clear night accompanies us the whole path. From the hut onwards I expect when the wind starts, but there was none. Calm peaceful night embraces us also at the top. On the other side we are already hurrying to Kumru. A bit lower we wade into high wet grass, that also passes in the forest. Lower we hear deer rut, I know that sound, otherwise confusion could arise. We watch our feet so there is no irregular step. At Kumru we quietly munch and rush to Olševa.

Yesterday from the direction of Kum I went to Peca, with the intention to mow annoying grass on the slope of Peca. I fulfilled my purpose. I mowed the grass. I cut some brush, still lots left. Now walking, especially in wet, is more pleasant. Also the feeling that some "snake" hides in tall grass disappears. It was nice to work in a sunny day and enjoy on the slope of Peca.
