Yesterday from Podvežak pasture (road completely OK!, but macadam drags on), via Deska, Vodotočnik, Korošica, Srebrno Sedlo to Planjava. Return via Škarje, Korošica, past Inkret's spring to the pasture. On Planjava active path markers, new logbook box, new direction sign a bit below summit and one short steel cable towards Škarje. Weather the nicest, almost too hot, people just a few. In my opinion Planjava via Škarje more demanding than approach via Srebrno sedlo. lp Rajty

Rajty, how the road would drag if you went on foot. Otherwise it's always better to go up via Babe, which you've already figured out yourself. Good luck!

In the opposite direction we did this route on 14.8., when there was a real flood of hikers on Korošica and rush to Ojstrica, but on this path there was no crowd. Best!

Every day I see it from the balcony, today I decided to visit it again. Nice fresh morning - worth shouting about. Otherwise all 5 spots at my parking were taken, so I parked my horse on the edge. Unfortunately upon return the situation was the same, so I had to drive about 100m in reverse towards home. There was no big crowd in the hut at Kamniško sedlo, so I borrowed Jerca from Simon and Milan for less than two hours for a jump to Planjava.

Hi! Can someone please tell me how long the route Dom planincev - Klemenča jama - Škarje - Planjava - Kamniško sedlo - Okrešelj - dom planincev would take? Somehow I think it could be done in 8-9 hours... Thanks for the reply and best regards.

In my young years I even dashed to Ojstrica, and there were still some hours of the day left, so your time will hold, probably there are still reserves of an hour or two. Best regards!

@otiv thanks for reply. I'm in a dilemma which path to choose, either via Repov kot or this from Logarska and via Škarij?

@robi14 The path via Repov kot is only more demanding than via Škarij. The path is also not marked sufficiently. But much more driving to Logarska valley if you're home near Kamniška Bistrica. Good luck!

Hi! Today my girlfriend and I were on Planjava, namely from below Rinka - Kamniško sedlo and summit. We returned via Škarij and then at the saddle below Rjavčki vrh turned left through Grlo. The path, mostly followable, marked with some faded marks and some cairns (we placed two ourselves) is very demanding and slippery in places, especially in the middle part on grass as the sun doesn't reach that gully. Accordingly, wet stones mostly hidden under grass. The demanding part of the path is also the last rocky jump along the torrent bed, mostly filled with scree and fallen trees and debris remnants. Climbing is aided by pegs, but one needs to clear steps ahead. A bit below this last part, another path branches left, which I lost in the beech forest. We went right straight along the torrent bed because enough adrenaline for today and reached the main road at Logarski kot farm. In general, the path to Rjavčki vrh is fine, through Grlo no more.

Started from Logarska dolina, over Škarje saddle to Planjava. Quite some snow up to the saddle, so crampons are recommended. Weather wonderful, plenty of hikers too... And also, for somewhere 15-20 min I had dog company (Saint Bernard - at least I think), but no trace of the owner. From the collar I wanted to type the tel. no. into the phone, but he ran away at the fifth digit. The last time I saw him he was strolling on Rjavčka gora, but he didn't respond to calls. Hope he safely found his owner. Lp Damjan

Greater Swiss Mountain Dog If we mean the same one, it's an old wanderer and good connoisseur of all surrounding slopes. Otherwise you find him (if not on the terrain) on the terrace of Pezion Na Razpotju. Where his big picture is also hanging. LP

Also to me on 27.8. kept company on Škarje. (description from Ojstrica, picture 11) Looks like we are a bit similar; at home can't stay long.
