The path via Kotliče is worth it,, only a few meters of snow in some part, that's before Kotliči, a bit after Brana,,, have an ice axe with you, crampons not needed,, mandatory ice axe to help yourself with it, and helmet mandatory, a stone fell on my shoulder, I still have it swollen.

THANKS! Yes, I always wear a helmet. Last year a stone flew past me on the path from Okrešelj to Kamniško sedlo... luckily just past.

Today I took advantage of the nice day and visited Planjava (both summits) from Dom v Kamniški Bistrici via K. sedlo. Winter gear stayed in the backpack, so no longer needed on this path. At the saddle there was a little wind, and some clouds settled around noon between Brana and Planjava, otherwise nice sunny and nice tour. Lp!nasmeh
A varied mountain weekend awaits, cable car running full steam :)1

I assume we met under Planjava. Otherwise let me say that the path to Planjava from Kamniško sedlo is exemplarily marked and protections are everywhere in right places in perfect condition.

Yes I agree regarding Planjava from Kam.Sedlo direction, but would criticize markings (poor), from Korošica direction towards Kamniško Sedlo, otherwise really great day for mountains. Lp nasmeh

Not much to add to previous posts. Just a reminder to have sunscreen, glasses, enough to drink and a hat with you. If you have good company too, then a nice day is no longer a question. Kamniško sedlo was well visited today, then spread a bit to Planjava, a bit to other ends. Some forumers too, hi Nati once again nasmeh.

Today, on a beautiful hot sunny Monday I decided for a tour over Planjava meadows to Planjava. Super tour, first time on this path. Returned past Kamniško sedlo and further to the valley. Super tour. Some pics here.

Today quite crowded summit. No views unfortunately from the top, but true that we didn't need sunscreen either.
On the ridge path to Škarje markings are in pretty poor condition.

Today finally did the long-planned tour to Planjava. Started in Kamniška Bistrica from upper parking. Note that driving there is forbidden. In the hut they told me they occasionally check. From here we shorten the path by more than half an hour. Windy at Kamniško sedlo as almost always. Looked bad, quite foggy and cloudy, but I still decided for the path. I always carry rain gear, so I never get wet. Path ok, aids fine. Even some snow in a bend, but can avoid it. Summit conquered in a good two hours. Summit book at top, stamp in hut. Unfortunately no views today, but could focus on flora. Edelweiss and Kamnik primroses already blooming at Kamniško sedlo. If nothing else these two are worth seeing. Pics later.
To Planjava from Kamniška Bistrica - this is the first stop at the Pastirci - pleasant rest area - also under a roof.1
This rock is called Kamrca - on this rock I found Clusius' fingerwort.2
Almost at the summit - Zgornja griča.3
They are renovating the path - commendable.4

The view towards Planjava was not encouraging at all.6
To Planjava is 2 hours walk.7

Somewhere approximately halfway, the path to the mountain is joined by the path from Korošica.14
Ten minutes to the top of Planjava.15
Signposts direct us back to Korošica - this way we can make a circular path, the so-called loop.16
The summit was unfortunately completely in fog. No views at all—alas. The stamp is obtained downstairs in the hut.17
On the way back to Pastirci, this viewpoint on a large boulder with a latrine—ingenious.18

In Klin, where the path to Repov kot branches off, the path is OK, well followable. A bit higher from the pools, that is, a bit further from the junction to Staničev vrh, there is a left branch. At first, it looks like some nice viewpoint. Otherwise, if you look a bit better to the left, you see the path that goes under the overhanging wall. The path is less visible at some places. I recommend going in nice weather. But it can be followed well.
