Bojan, I'm curious how you'll explain to the old fossil what Facebook is when he tells you to send it to him in an envelope!?

Read the story below of Jesenice ironworkers, and please help with your suggestions on legal support for these makers of the 'flag' project. If anyone knows a legal expert willing to represent them in proceedings against the organizer of Aljaž Tower removal, report it ASAP! Thanks!
Aim is to stop and halt the evil intentions.
:
Polemic around planned removal or relocation of Aljaž Tower from Triglav top to Mojstrana Museum grows day by day. Ideological leader of project PZS president F.Ekar receives open opposition letters daily from all sides (e.g. from Gore-ljudje.net main page editor F.Savenc), Triglav friends, individuals etc. Radio stations and websites feature polls and forums on the issue to gauge public opinion, almost exclusively showing open protest against the act.
Mountaineering public especially upset by PZS leader's statement few days ago on Pop-tv 24 hours show, that 'like all museums, Mojstrana needs its own Mona Lisa'..
Group of Jesenice men (former Jesenice Ironworks employees) already spoke up, who after Slovenian independence made and attached to Aljaž Tower top their product- movable metal flag with inscription or year 1895. Some are Slovenian war veterans.
Before their intervention tower top had five-pointed star. Aljaž Tower with mentioned flag, known worldwide in that form almost two decades, they rightfully see as whole, claiming their intent similar to Aljaž's over 100 years ago- to stay there forever or for many future generations.
Removal of Aljaž Tower as whole from its Triglav top place, currently cylindrical metal bivouac with flag on top- as fruit of their engagement on Aljaž Tower in recent Slovenian history, they see as violence and contempt of their national feelings, intrusion into personal national consciousness that drove the work. It is known that no one opposed or doubted addition's legitimacy at creation or later.
In case of violent removal (without consent) of Aljaž Tower as whole from Triglav top, these men are ready to start legal dispute against demolition organizer.

Triglavski announces irrevocable resignation:

http://www.gore-ljudje.net/novosti/47273/

jezen Hey, you can't mean that seriously? You'll brighten Ekar's weekend (finally rid of Bovec whiner).

Withdrawal not way forward unless strategic.
- You know the issue,
- know who to talk to among hikers, climbers, GRS and alpinists.
- Have ideas and youth, and we all know you as active climber and rescuer in touch with events, who doesn't see only profit and training ground in mountains.
- With likely privileged service you'll soon be young retiree with some time left, can't fly up hills every day.

Right word is rather candidacy for next elections, spring or whenever for new PZS president.
You have real chances!!!

I fully agree with the predecessor. It is more than obvious that you are one of the more influential/known (at least in these circles) representatives of all of us who think that the tower removal is a crime against our common state and a great shame for climbers and other citizens. So don't surrender without a fight! Who will dare claim then that no one was againstjezen?!

You have the support of the public. As for elections, I am pretty sure that the current senile and outright arrogantly ignorant leadership represents no competition.

With respect!

Rok

When a person becomes pure in soul, then he drives away from himself all that is fake, lying, profit-driven, monologic and much more that is not in God nor in us. I fully understand him. Only such people will rise from the average of society and become the light and leadership of the new man. This is already happening and we will witness the new era very soon. Let Igor do what his soul and heart know best, not mental forms. I hope he will still bring us messages from the mountains and invaluable advice. God watches and cares for him. As for Ekar and other institutions, profit without work and riding on others' backs is an established practice. That too will soon be tested and destroyed. God's mills grind slowly but steadily. I'm going to finish painting the fence (white), before it rains. See you!

Hey, have you read the response from President Turk's office??--Doesn't agree with removal!!
Hope it counts for something!!
Congrats to Triglavski!
Still seeking legal help for Jesenice ironworkers who added movable metal flag to the tower two decades ago.
Best, Heinz!!

I certainly don't agree with him on many things and I'm one of those who think we need some younger leadership with more reasonable fresh ideas. But I think the stances were quite clearly expressed
to summarize them as I understand them:
Relocation of Aljaž Tower seems necessary to him to protect the tower.(this time not blaming wear and tear but rather that people can do whatever they want with it up there, so they add to it and change it at will... where I agree with him but the reason doesn't seem sufficient to me)
Regarding the past debate on mountaineering and alpinism he is obviously convinced that with the word mountaineer we offend our alpine organization (which seems unreasonable to me..what else)
Fine, only on the policy issue he didn't take a stand, which is probably right-politics shouldn't have anything to do here smile

In short I still don't agree, but he handled the interview quite successfully, will probably convince many(surely not the fierce opponents here up, but many for whom this whole thing doesn't seem so important already)

Full support for Triglav also from my side!

It is really shameful what some individuals want to do with our greatest Slovenian monument.
Mr. Ekar I tell you I have no words in my wide repertoire of words to describe you.
Years ago for such piggery they would have long ago thrown a stone on Goli Otok, who knows maybe the sun would help someone....

We won't give up Aljaž!

If it has stood there since 1895, it means it's strong and enduring, like all those who reached it with pride and joy. True, it needs some renovation, but ''it's not yet so old and feeble that they stuff it into a retirement home or museum in Mojstrana''.
Let our pride stay where it is and RESPECT IT.
Alpine greetings and happy trails to all Slovenes, hikers, especially Aljaž lovers.smile

Tomorrow I planned to go to Triglav for the first time this year to take all 1800 signatures up. But health still doesn't allow me. sad

If not then some next (hope as soon as possible) day. By then there will be at least 2000 signatures already, so Aljaž has something to show.

Ekar still hasn't replied to me. Obviously it doesn't move him.

Even the guardians of TNP and the office for cultural heritage protection don't care, neither for Aljaž Tower, nor for excessive intervention at Rudno polje, fresh tracks at Plač near the lake, road to Belsko pl-Svačica, Pokljuka logging, ideas for modern intervention even in Tamar valley and more and more. Where are the guardians of nature, PZS, TNP with their sworn and main functions of nature protection. Is it really all already agreed under the table, because nature will one day take revenge on us, and above all it's sad that with such actions we are also losing our roots and distancing ourselves from the source of the essence of coexistence with nature and creation. What does it help someone to ride on an asphalt road polygon with rollers, if they don't see beyond artificial polygons, let alone see or feel a flower, natural rock, whisper of wind in spruces, warmth of awakening anthill, soothing babble of stream, play of young chamois with horns, glowing sunrise, alone in the storm that cleans creation. When will foolish heads full of arrogance, ignorance of nature, profit mentality realize that "we" humans are the greatest burden and trash of what is and will be. Nature is more intelligent than us, it was created far before us with the help of laws of divine vibrations and transformed into physical form, just like humans later. Everything is already created, only human ego by wanting to add or change something distances itself from the source of itself and creation. Meditation is only when you are without thoughts in harmony of unity of your heart. When we start thinking, EGO appears, which dominates the heart. Respect nature and learn from it, because it is our earthly Mother. The Earth feels who walks on it, said Sri Mataji Nirmala Devi.
