Farm at Zgaga is the house located halfway between Podrošt and Petrovo Brdo. At Podrošt at the inn (some 3km after Zalega Loga), where there is the junction for Sorica and Petrovo Brdo, take the left lower road.

Please if anyone knows what the conditions are like for Porezen from Huda Južina direction and if the path is trodden for winter ascent, thanks.

The road to Davča is finished and there is no need anymore to drive around the detour past Zgaga.

To be a bit cynical. They can arrive in these nice places with all kinds of machinery, but the former occupier, who occupied these nice places for a whole 25 years, built roads for them. Can't these games be played on a computer?

Nice, Otiv. I like the path from Raspete very much in winter when I can tackle it with snowshoes (post under this topic 3.3.2013). Judging by your photos, it's fairy-tale like now too. Since this winter ended too fast for me, the winter ascent to Porezen has been moved to the end of the year (if there is snow). The green meadows dotted with little flowers are more than inviting. I hope I too get the green light soon and start hikes again.

Thanks SuzanaM. Porezen is always beautiful and I like to visit it, as it was one of the peaks of the honeymoon of my late parents who taught us kids to love and respect nature. Nice regards and fix the "traffic light" as soon as possible

Today I was again on my beloved Porezen, because I could get a ride to Cerkno and Franja. I climb to the top, drink tea in the hut and then descend to Davča and then to Zali Log, from where I hitchhike to Škofja Loka (thanks to friendly people!), there train back to Ljubljana. The trail is without peculiarities, nicely marked, on the Davča side they are already grazing and cows watch hikers with great interest. One more thing. Usually I collect some trailside trash in a small bag, this time on the way to Davča I came upon real "wilderness", party remains. I emptied a large bag which had spare clothes and barely had enough for all the cans and bottles. Whoever it was, shame on him.

There shouldn't be problems with the roads. For the trail it's like this, now everything is soaked and muddy and there are also quite a few streams that aren't there otherwise.

@lakkon, I would recommend the steep trail from Poče, it's still less watery.

Yesterday to Porezen from Davča. Some snow in the summit part, otherwise trail entirely without peculiarities. Hut was open, which apparently holds for all nice weekends. With the camera this time unfortunately we weren't the best coordinated, despite that I brought home some views that will stay stored here http://stezeinsledi.blogspot.com/2014/11/porezen-1630-m.html Safe on trails
