I also understand what you predecessors wanted to say, but nevertheless I support macesna 1's opinion that it is good to follow some rules of grammar and public communication when writing, as we had a debate about the quality of this site a while ago. LP!

The mountains are not dangerous, nor the conditions, nor the hazards, etc. The greatest danger to man is man himself.

It's true as Turbo describes. This thought confirms itself in the human relation to nature, everyday mutual relations and finally in knowing the depths of oneself, to where one's own experience threshold reaches, where to stop, where one can cross and when to stop and turn to the valley. I must say, that as a predominantly solo hiker I register these realizations on trips much better than on group outings. I also immerse myself more easily in nature, listen to it and decide on the further course of the trip based on observations-senses. But masters of wisdom have already said that man is like an empty shell, if he does not know his origin and does not walk towards the truth, the light of God.

Viharnik, nothing to add. Maybe just that it's nicest when you succeed in "switching off" and almost don't perceive what's happening around you. Of course on the way to the mountains, or during ascent to some peak. Recently like that, as in a trance. Summit before me like a backdrop, feelings like walking on air... if I said that I watched myself "from the air" how I ascend, I wouldn't lie much. Wasn't the first time, but very very rare...

That state you describe is very rare, especially if you don't work on yourself. Only then when you can be in a state without thoughts you are actually in your field, center, balance because then ego settles and you connect (as Humar also described) to the field of that which arranges everything and everyone can imagine it their own way. These are big things, dimensions completely unknown to man but all too real. LP

Nice Tuesday you had and now nice pics of course. Wondering how much new snow from hut up to summit and in forest from Radušnik to hut? Thanks in advance.

Bbrina, really nice trip it was. Pics are so-so. Fog was playing tricks. Expected cloud base lower, but by noon up almost to Raduha summit. Not much new snow, just couple cm. Both through forest to hut and from hut to top. Trail well packed, doesn't sink. We went direct from hut to summit, bit above chapel sharply left uphill. Towards Durc from hut there's track and snowmobile traces, but higher at junction realized right choice. From Durc to summit no track, lots of snow though. Nicer weather promised end of week, tempting to repeat for better views. Safe steps if heading up. LP Dani

Today climbed Raduha from Tevčeva farm past hut at Loki to summit. Chose this approach because road to Radušnik icy in the morning, so continued past Miklavc to Tevc, parked there. Unmarked path from Tevc joins marked from Luče after ~30 min. Two ski tourers ahead made following easy. Snow to Loki hut ~30 cm, higher much more. Lots of drifts, walking quite strenuous. For summit put on crampons, some without, but final pitch steep and icy so... Descended demanding pathless to Arta pasture past Snežna jama to marked path back to Luče. Descent hit over meter snow in places, really slowed progress. Still, another nice tough day in mountains. LP

Today on Raduha: fog, wind and very cold despite nice forecast. Koča na Loki open so we could warm up a bit. Visitors just a few. ADA

On Raduha today sunny, no wind, snow not frozen so no crampons needed. Trail and path from Luče well trodden...
