Yes, Rozka, today was really such a day, even though this winter is just perfect and those who want and can really enjoy with full lungs!! My camera stayed home just today, when you'd want to save pics somewhere else than just in memory, to look at them when memory fades....

Yes, really a nice day, wonderful views and the wind spared me... as for taking pics, I've had the camera about two years and don't know how I did without it before, now totally hooked and try not to forget it, hehe

Hi Rozka, you were on a nice summit, nice path, and no wind even. I went up a bit differently, down to Loka because it was blowing. I'm curious which path you took to the junction on pics 1 and 2, because I almost surely didn't drive past there. Nice greetings and happy trails!

Hi Edina... my plan was also to go back via Durce and then to Lanež, but there you mostly walk along the ridge and wind is unavoidable, so I rather "sunned" myself on Loka.
Otherwise it's the road by which you drive to Loka or Snežna jama in summer, now higher impassable, in Struge (between Ljubno and Luče) there's a tavern on the right and right after the tavern you turn right, there are also signs by the road for the cave, hut on Loka and Raduha. You probably came via the panoramic road from Luče?!

Yes, I came from Luče, I asked because I also first time started at Radušnik this time and the road didn't drag like the one from Struge to the hut on Loka. Thanks and happy trails

I have an HTC, but the camera is not exactly the strong suit of these phones. As soon as there is too much or too little light, mine completely fails... but my colleague's Samsung Omnio HD gets quite solid pics...

Here, I was on Raduha, weather a perfect 10, no wind, short sleeves, met only three hikers, not even crampons needed. Correction: I didn't put them on, maybe someone needs them

Yeah, it really was fantastic, I was another at least 45 min later on Loki's terrace, said I'd go to Pec tomorrow but something came up and I'll go only in the morning to Celjska koča. If you ever need company for a tour during the week, just contact me, I'll gladly join. LP

Yesterday the ascent to Raduha was the right choice according to the forecast. With my husband we drove by car from Struga to the junction on the first pic (don't know the place name). After 1.5 hours walking on a path that gently ascends all the way we arrived at Koča na Loki hut. After a short rest we headed to Raduha. The path to Raduha is well trodden so despite warm sunny weather it wasn't muddy... we met quite a few hikers and touring skiers weren't missing either...

What are the conditions on the path to the Koča na Loki hut? I'm interested if there's a hike on Saturday and where the meeting point is.
