From Grohota don't recommend, it's Russian roulette because of avalanche danger, and snow is surely close to 2 meters nt. From Loka should go with snowshoes or touring skis imo.

Today on Raduha from farm Radusnik. To hut on Loki no problem, further it sinks quite strongly. Marked path not trodden. I went off-trail which was marked from previous day, when they were up with snowshoes. Caution not superfluous, and fog is tricky too. lp

Like the last 15 years, this year too I didn't betray the traditional Arnič hike to Raduha. Snow was plentiful this year all along the trail from Luč, weather divine. This hike is more and more my favorite because of the great elevation gain and the nice hut at two thirds of the way, always enough space for all hikers in it. Tea, (Ada) unfortunately they still have bad.

At Arnič they have great tea, same as at Smrekovec too.

To farm Bukovnik excellently cleared (info from Sunday 17. 3. 2013). I assume it's the same today.

Slow down girls! From Bukovnik to Raduha you go over Durce, if I'm not mistaken. But that's the route that's not safe these days and took its toll last year.
From Radušnik past the hut on Loki, it would probably be ok.

From that side, no problem reaching Raduha even in the worst winter, so now no path issues. Enjoy the path. Lp.

I'm curious if anyone has recently done the tour Koča na Loki-Planina Arta-Mali Rt-Velika Raduha-Durce-Koča na Loki. And what are the conditions like? Is the path very demanding? Thanks

@zico10 to Loki you probably plan with the car and that will be a problem due to snow, maybe it has melted. Your route is easy and pleasant, just fitness needed. As Janezs wrote, to Raduha from the south side no problem, just heart energy needed. I often started from Luče in good snow conditions. If a meter of new snow, then postpone the ascent.

Thanks for the quick reply, otiv. I plan to use the Radušnik hut just as the starting point for a circular hike. Otherwise, how much time do you take if you start in Luče for approximately such a tour as I wrote, and of course also end in Luče?

This is a full-day hike and mainly depends on the weather situation. I usually start in the morning and return to the valley in the afternoon. Of course I take lots of photos and on the summit obligatory an hour of meditation if there's not too much hustle and bustle. Raduha is quite crowded, especially on weekends with nice weather. Don't forget from Raduha there's an unforgettable view of a large part of our beloved homeland, so I wish you good visibility.
