Hi!
Does anyone happen to know what happened to the hiking path from Bukovnik to Grohat? After about 50m it almost took off my shoes, so much mud there was, completely freshly dug up so I went then preferably by road. velik nasmeh

I haven't been to Mali Raduha yet, so today I decided to "conquer" it cool; and so I wandered: Pl. Loka – Durce – Lanež – Durce - Mala Raduha - Velika Raduha and back to Loka.
Weather mostly cloudy with moderate wind; but at the end, last few hundred meters, a light rain sprinkled me a bit. Due to remains of yesterday's snowfall, the path, especially in the upper part, was muddy and slippery, so carefully! Despite the more unpleasant weather, there were quite a few hikers.

Traverse in the S wall of Raduha
Today we decided to explore the traverse in the S wall of Raduha. We were interested in the section: from the climbing path to the ridge which we climb from Račke vrata to Mali rt (1975m). Quite a long traverse, and we parked the car down by the bridge over the Savinja (GROBELNIK).
Anyway, the PZS notice says:
PD Solčava announces that the path to the Koča v Grohotu pod Raduho is closed on the section Grobelnik – Tolstovršnik - Planine Javorje – Dolgi plaz – Lipni plaz – Koča v Grohotu pod Raduho, due to active landslide and wall collapse above the mountain path.

Quite cold morning, white walls of Raduha and the above notice don't deter us from our planned intention. At the yard of the Tolstovršnik farm in the morning (7:20) the guard dog greets us and wonderful views of Robanov kot, Raduha, Olševa… When vertical walls start greeting us from the right, we notice a poorly visible arrow on the rock. It immediately attracts us. We decide to explore. In the steep, wet, rocky gully sprinkled with ice pellets with Milan we turn back... we'll return when dry. We continue on the nicely visible path in the steep forest that winds above precipitous slopes. Wet, slippery, the trail gets lost, we crawl on all fours… we turn back (cca. 2 hours lost). Again, along the marked towards Grohat. The described landslide doesn't cause us problems, as we're used to worse.
Before Grohat steeply into the forest our way and to the ridge, which takes us to the marked a bit from the junction for Durce and "climbing". A little before the chains we turn right on the nicely visible path. Past the mark on the rock, the path is visible and traceable. Then, we notice another nicely traceable path that branches steeply down (we'll explore where it leads next time??). Continuation follows under the wall, without special difficulties. Otherwise wild, solitary and above us high precipitous walls, smooth rock jumps. Soon we come across sawn trees and nicely cleared path? We don't expect that and don't understand the meaning... soon it all ends. Milan a bit higher under the wall finds a cairn. Happy that we're on the "right path" and continue. Soon we encounter first difficulties....!! Path lost before steep gully. Milan searches passage higher, we lower. But we all cross the quite tricky gully and meet on the other side. We climb back under the wall and after medium difficult climbing reach the rock tip (14:50). The only logical continuation is: steep descent into the next gully.... Together we decide: return to the bush and search for descent path. Starting point is next goal! We'll continue another time when rested and not so wet.
We search passages, cross gullies and only slowly descent succeeds. Precipitous walls and unclimbable rock jumps hinder us. When steepness eases a bit we start descending and finally… NICELY VISIBLE, FRESHLY MADE HUNTER'S PATH. Almost sorry to leave it, but it leads us too much towards Rebrnik, or Rebrski stan. Again down the steep gully and finally to the forest road that leads us back to Tolstovršnik farm. While walking on the wide forest road our gazes wander to the vertical wall of Raduha and we figure out where we were moving…?
In the end we orient ourselves and satisfied conclude: we got quite far, some path still awaits and to meet Herletova path, we return…
Path start at junction from marked is nicely traceable. Hindrance was wetness and ice remains from yesterday's storm. Most of the path then advances only on chamois tracks. Constantly need to search for them and easier passages in eroded gullies. All happens above and below precipitous walls and rock jumps. Short climbing sections don't exceed II, most of path is I. For experienced pathfinders and lovers of wild, hard-to-access nature. Altogether strenuous but beautiful 11 hours.

Since it was a planned and in the end also carried out more as a scouting tour, part of the path remained hidden and still waits nasmeh.
I'm attaching my picture, where the sheep path is drawn in (we moved lower in the second part) and how far we got in my opinion (slightly correcting Zlatko's result mežikanje).

"garmont" I think there are still quite a few interesting things to explore here. When you walk on top of Raduha you don't even realize how much is still hidden below and how it all connects... Drago, so there is still quite a bit undiscovered for us and also for others.
But I apologize, because I shifted the place where we reached a bit too much to the left. I took the photo from another angle and the gully that nicely serves as orientation on my photo is not visible.

This section of the path was still left for us. Red indicates where you can bypass the most difficult part of the path before Pomol1

Raduha: continuation part II
The unfinished part of the path we did on 21.6.2015 tormented Milan so much that his sleep already suffered (at least that's what he assured me). When we talk on the phone on festive evening he mentions he has to go back "up". Of course I "sacrifice" myself again to accompany him…cool
As for sleep, today morning I called him 3x by phone (so he saves me a cup of coffee) but had to bang hard on the door at 5am to wake him…velik nasmehvelik nasmeh But he brewed good coffee when he groggily crawled out of bed. And such bad sleep….zavijanje z očmi
At 6am we set off from Rogovilc towards Rebrnik farm. At 7:20 we are at their hut and along the ridge towards the walls. Soon we lose the path and each goes his own way. Me higher, Milan lower. By phone we suggest where we should move. In the first gully it scratches me so I'm all bloody. When we want to call out to each other I realize we are toooo far apart. Suddenly I spot in the depth the known path from last time. I call Milan and agree to meet under the wall. Barely scramble down the slope to the path, but no Milan. I call him and finally we spot each other visually. He's a bit lower…zmeden Finally we meet and follow the nicely visible pathlet. We search end/start, which we find on the marked path where last time we went towards Grohot. Then we go back along it to where we met and steeply up towards the wall. A bit more to the right than last time and in the gully leading under the wall we decide to climb up it. Quite solid II on some sections. Even with "gypsy rope" we help each other at the rock jump.
Finally under the WALL! The nicely visible little path leading right by the wall cheers us. Immediately to exploring, until we clarify where that tip is that we reached last time. Then happily onwards and around 13:00 we are at the junction of "paths", where we usually reach along the ridge from Račkih vrat. First snack, rest and return via the easier variant, with which you avoid the hardest part of the ridge start. To the right is a daunting abyss and caution is not superfluous. Soon below we spot the arch of Račkih vrat. Another descent, which is quite more difficult than when ascending. The gates don't interest us today and down the gully. But we "knitted" quite a bit to find back to Rebrski stan. These paths are like women: when you think you have it, you lose it, then you have to damn hard try to get it back…zavijanje z očmi
At 16:45 we are back at Rogovilc. Quite strenuous and orientationally difficult tour. Climbing nowhere exceeds II degree. But caution is needed when crossing numerous gullies and the path mostly runs above steep precipitous walls or under them… Today we achieved what we planned and can lead and show the colleagues. To Milan, peaceful sleep from today onwards...cool

Ovčja path
We used today's sunny Saturday to fulfill our colleague "Pika's" wish and hike the entire Ovčja path in one stage. Previously, we had split it into two exploratory stages. Note that the starting point is the former Rogovilc inn (cca. 600m). So, the start is very low. We somewhat miscalculated the length of the path – we hiked from 7:10 to 19:30. We returned to Rogovilc just before dark.
Morning start at Rogovilc, and we also have an extra colleague and colleague who wanted Račka vrata and then the ridge to Mali rt. We offer them to join us to Pomol, after that they will have to manage on their own. At 9:24 we are at Račka vrata. We climb over the arch and continue towards Pomol. We reach Pomol at 11:00 by our own route, searching for passages in the wall and ridge. We sign the logbook, say goodbye, wish them a safe journey; we go under the wall, they continue along the ridge. We progress well. At the start, we go a bit too high under the wall. At Planika bivouac at 12:00 we meet a group from Carinthia going in the opposite direction. We sit for a bit, chat, and continue each on our way. We follow the path well and climb the difficult spots without issues. When we enter the phase where Ovčja path starts (in our case ends), we get a bit tangled. We climb too high under the wall. Sometimes it's II., which alerts us that something is not "right". When it gets even harder, we immediately return to the starting position where we lost the "path". We search in the tall grass and finally find it. During a short break, we agree not to go towards the marked path leading to the climbing route on Raduha, but to descend via the hunter's path. At the start it's well traceable, then worse, and we realize... the path leads to salt licks and then starts ascending again. We descend blindly our own way and soon have troubles... rock jumps block us and we decide to follow the steep chamois track – really steep!! All the time in doubt: will a rock jump stop us somewhere that we can't climb? Finally, we reach the marked path leading to Grohata.
Now just the descent on our well-known hunter tracks back to Rebrski stan, past the Rebrnik farm at 19:14, and return to Rogovilc. Here we analyze impressions and just before dark the colleagues with whom we started the tour also return.
For me quite a strenuous tour. It lasted more than 12 hours. The traceability of Ovčja is poor at times and requires considerable effort not to stray. Difficulty does not exceed II. Most is I., only crossing some gully can be tricky for many at times. lp
