Incredibly beautiful, more like summer than spring - the warm Raduha!
Snow only on the descent from the top towards Loka and even that in the form of "slush".

On Tuesday tramping on Golte was so pleasant that Milan and I figured we should break trail higher up somewhere. So yesterday morning in the dark we parked at Račnik. Where the path starts there's now a new logging track all the way to the torrent gully. Further to the salt lick and up the ridge to the road is full of branches and logging debris. Better now to go by the road. Snow started just below Rački vrata. Over the arch we continued on the lower path to Pomol. I went up to Pomol via the north ridge, which was quite demanding in current conditions. Milan went round via the gully and joined me at Pomol, where we took time for logbook and strudel. Morning weather worries were gone at Pomol - almost clear already, and stayed so all the way. Ridge up to Mali rt was fairly tough, esp. ice on sunny slopes hidden under snow, plus fierce NW wind with no shelter on the ridge. Ice axes really came in handy. At Mali rt we ducked into lee south slope away from wind - pleasantly warm there. More snow though, ~20cm new on hard base. Perfect for enjoyable tramping. At Raduha summit fresh tracks showed someone else seized the great day. Descended via Loka and Slemen. Snow to Slemen, trickier lower path bare.

with full fitness... well, a bit of a joke must be there. We've gotten used to as much as possible by car. 30 years ago, e.g., train to Žirovnica then on foot from the station to Stol. Didn't have a car then zavijanje z očmi

In winter you can drive to Radušnik farm, where there's not much parking space though, with good will and a word you find a spot.

I always park below Radušnik even in the forest by the road. True not much space...especially with snow.

does anyone have any info on conditions on the path from Luč to Raduha (elevation and snowpack, avalanche risk, trodden trail,...)?

Tomorrow we're going with a colleague from Radušnik to Raduha with touring skis. Hut on Loki is open.

Today we picked Raduha for a winter tour, started at Radušnik. Thicker snowpack starts around 1400m, snow sinks in and doesn't hold a person, we had snowshoes nasmeh

which were very handy velik nasmeh

, only the last ascent to the summit is firm enough without snowshoes or skis. Snow at 2000m about a good meter or a bit more.

Today I was on Raduha with skis from Radušnik. On the summit I met three more, also with touring skis. By 8am already quite south-exposed. Lots of snow.
