Loka, Raduha, Grohat, Spodnje sleme.

At the hut everyone eats something and prepares for the ascent. The start of the path is dry, higher up snow appears, of course it presents no obstacles, not even for "sneaker guys". It surprises me that this footwear is used by more and more older hikers. The path to the summit is nicely hikeable, snowy parts also muddy. Completely different picture in Grohat, there is still lots of snow on the path, good to have good boots to make good footprints in the snow. I chose the scree path and used the snow for "skiing". This choice seemed safer to me than the marked path, which also hides ice under the snow. At Bukovnik farm a longer stop and resupply for continuing the path.

I intend with my girl over the north face of Raduha to the top and then down over Durce (from Bukovnik). But does anyone know if the path is dry?

Yesterday to Lanež and Raduha. Start at Bukovnik farm in wonderful morning. Clouds visibly growing. First up gully to Lanež-Honikova path then to Raduha. Quite a few people. Descent over Durce to Grohot path without peculiarities. Afternoon a bit sprinkled....

Grapa na Lanež below the hut on Grohatu - it seems the gully gets more scree-filled every year....1

Today on Raduha. Up via Hojnikova to Lanež and then to Velika Raduha. Descent via the secured path back to Grohot. Interesting loop from the north without using the path over Durc. Conditions in the lower part humid, flies spice everything up. Rock on Hojnikova and upper secured section quite greasy and damp, extra care needed. Weather below sunny over the whole ridge low clouds rushing, so not much in terms of views.

A lot has been written about this, but anyway. On Saturday I went to Raduha - afternoon showers were forecast so I took quite some gear. Planned to wait for sunset at the top then descend. Started a bit below Kosmačevi Rastki, just before Loka hut a thunderstorm with hail exploded, rain amount incredible. Hail hazelnut size, kingdom for a helmet... Anyway, the storm got a couple of heroes doing K24 equipped accordingly and frozen stiff. Been to Loka many times, always great, this time family exceeded expectations. Cared for us before clearing torrent floods and saving stuff. After a few hours all dry, fed, happy, hut dry. So thanks again, really amazing.

It ended well for you optimists. The atmosphere was full of moisture and charged, so it already showed in the morning that everything alive would fall down. It's good to heed weather forecasts especially on humid summer days.

Which path is the nicest to Raduha, is it from Planina Vodol, or Planina Loka or from where do you recommend?

Thanks

For me the nicest is from Bukovnik via climbing path, then back over Durce.

I like those too, but kids are going along so I'm looking for easier ones with nice nature nasmeh

All paths are beautiful in their own way, but beauty in mountains is also relative (subjective). For me, for example
nice path from Koča na Loki towards Raduha via Durc and not the classic one where you're a lot in scree.

From Koča na Loki you can make a nice circular path to Raduha. Up you go direct to the top, back via Durc and Lanež on the eastern path. With kids about three hours. You must be very early, the path is in the sun all the time.
Maybe now more suitable is the northern easy path from Bukovnik over Durce.

I recommend Bukovnik-Velika Raduha-Lanež-Bukovnik. One of the attractions are also the bulls on Grohat. Especially interesting if you want to fetch water when they are quenching their thirst toojezik
This water is good.1
Boldly to the water.2
Mostly they lie around and ignore the hikers.3

Hello, I'm interested if anyone was on Raduha from Robanov Kot via the following path: Robanov Kot-Račnik, Račnik - junction to planina Arta, junction - parking at Snežna jama, parking - planina Arta, planina Arta - Velika Raduha and how is the path marked?

The trail is well marked. A bit more attention is needed somewhere in the middle, because last year they made some new clearings. You shouldn't have any special problems!
