Today to Raduha from planina Loke from hut under Raduha. We drive to Luče and in village Struge towards Snežna jama and hut under Raduha. At the end a few km of gravel, which is normally drivable. Parking is currently a bit problematic, because it's full of wood and logging machines there. There was space for a few vehicles, no more. How it is during the week is another question - today the machines were resting. Mostly they parked lower by the road. To Raduha we went via Durce, which is definitely a recommended route uphill. It's quite rocky and in places very eroded from storms. Also a little water flows on part of the path. After about two hours we were at the top. Today Raduha had a lot of visitors. Also a flock of sheep grazes right on the summit. Up there is a box for entries, whose lid has been blown off and the logbook is unusable because it's soaked. In the hut they said it's being fixed. The stamp is poorly visible, but you can get it in the hut too. Down we went by the normal path, which is much nicer than the one via Durce. Hut is nice, offer excellent - very praiseworthy.

And couldn't get to Raduha summit by car? Damn, real feat Raduha if park 5 min below hut on Loki, oxygen tanks or went without?

No couldn't, we were on top, also older folks well over 70 there, see you have issues.
First try oxygen, if it doesn't help then other institutions LP

P.S. helps already if you lift ass from armchair

Today past Koča na Loki over Durce and via ferrata to summit. Snow on ferrata no problem anywhere. mežikanje

Went without oxygen tanks. velik nasmeh

19.8. Until 13h super, then shower and wet rocks.

I'd appeal to people, hikers, mountaineers aware of rock dangers and equipped properly to warn tourists as often as possible on dangers lurking; indeed I saw yesterday several 'opportunities' for helicopter visit in mountains. Most surprised couple with two dogs on flexi, sneakers, shorts no helmet. Can only say bravo. Two older couples same without protection didn't 'know' how demanding here though below junction says very difficult path. Sometimes really speechless but people, seriously, understand you're supermen and today feel super surely didn't slip...what about hikers below, above, beside you...Next time you could be under someone who accidentally knocks stone down......

I was up there on Saturday 19.08. Up the via ferrata, down then a detour to Lanež and via Durc back to Grohot and to Bukovnik. Didn't meet anyone on the via ferrata, rock greasy in places, and crumbliness greater every year. Via Durc you see lots of the above.

Yesterday Sunday 19.8. I did the Rogovilec-Grohot route and to Raduha via climbing path. Day before they forecasted low chance of thunderstorms. Then during the hike I check fresh forecast and see thunderstorms possible around 14. And it held true. So I sped up a bit and nicely did the route just no long stops and sunbathing. At Rogovilec I cool radler in Savinja while changing shoes then down it before going home and already thunder and pouring.

Route at start bit chaos no path but I managed and then caught the path. Landslide on path still active so careful. Bit before Grohot some spruces across path. Climbing path itself no specials just rocks a bit slippery.

Three of us were up at night (K-24), so we went up via Durc, pure darkness, peace and quiet. Cheers.

#pohodnik38 obviously we did the same loop. You started an hour before me. But at start almost chaos through clearcut. Hard to follow trail. It goes...but need some ingenuity and attention. As for rain it turned out perfect...2 min after arriving at car velik nasmeh Safe travels ahead.

On Wednesday planning to hike to Raduha.
Which route do you recommend or starting point.
I have SUV 4x4, so no problem going higher.
I also have 4x4 and ZO.

If you have 4x4 you'll get to Loka too.
For normal car then from Radušnik up.

Today start from Radušnik past hut at Loka to summit. Descent via Arto and past Snežna jama back to start.
Snow starts at parking below hut at Loka and not much. To top no problems, snow was loose, no talk of crampons today.mežikanje Road drivable with winter tires to parking below hut.
Weather though....super. nasmeh

Those tracks from Durc were me and friend, Grohat really cold, at Bukovnik at 07.00 -8. Snow in scree about 20-30 cm. Wonderful day and stunning views all around.

Yeah really no special problems, just if you went first it was slippery here and there on rocks covered with snow.velik nasmeh

We saw one track + dog, but thought it was from the previous day because it was completely faded and no living soul anywhere at 09.00 when we were at the top.velik nasmeh
