On picture 21, I think it's Pihavec... it happens

But it is true that in both cases Šplevta is on the right

That will hold - in front is Šplevta - 2224m, before Pihavec that ridge on the left should be Vrh nad Kamnom - 2365m. Somehow behind Pihavec should be Mali Pihavec - 2185m, which is probably behind and not visible.

On picture No. 5 I really got carried away, I know that Turn pod Stenarjem is under Spodnji Stenar and only further is Stenar. I think now Pihavec and left peak before it and front are correctly determined.

Hello, Has anyone been around here? What's the condition of the path?

We two went from Vršič today. The path is completely dry (or you can avoid it), except for two sections that are very short but very exposed. Today it was icy, the footprints are bad and there's a risk of slipping, so caution is advised. Everyone should assess their own readiness...

Is the path from Vrata to the summit dry? Is a via ferrata set needed for the climbing section below the summit?

The path is dry, regarding the via ferrata set you'll know yourself if you need it. E.g., if you need it on other paths with cables and pegs then you'll need it here too Good luck

redbull (or someone else) do you maybe know if the path from Vršič is also dry or passable without winter gear? Thanks

From Vršič it is dry, as I went exactly on this path last week. This week nothing has changed

Is this climbing section below the summit more similar to Kopiščarjeva on Prisank or Slovenska on Mangart?

The climbing section is practically up a vertical wall - it's more similar to the chimney on Kopiščarjeva, only the rock is dry. It's quite demanding, but also short.

CC, as you see Razor on 12.11.2017 is the only dry summit in the Julian Alps. So happily up to it.

Congratulations on the tour. Demanding stuff. I like the ninth picture. Maybe someone knows the name of the rocky chunk right of Turn pod Razorjem. I've been on it twice, still don't know the name.
