What are current conditions on path Okrešelj - Koroška Rinka - Kranjska Rinka - Turski žleb? Is it still icy at top and crampons needed?

Given the temperatures in recent days, surely not icy anymore. Ice axe and crampons I'd take along, otherwise ice axe probably needed, crampons not.

Maybe someone knows what the conditions are on the path from Kranjska koča to Koroška Rinka and how about snow from Ravenska koča to Kranjska koča?

I was at the Rinke on Saturday. The path is normally passable, except somewhere halfway from Jezersko saddle to Koroška in one gully there's a bit more snow but you can bypass it. Squeeze a bit to the wall and go. Between Koroška and Kranjska you need to cross a quite steep snowfield. No need for winter gear. The path is a bit poorly marked or the marks have faded. No snow to Ledine anymore, neither in the gorge nor on the hunter path. Safe steps

Nice greeting. I'm interested in how it is with this path that is drawn on the PZS map; on this map on that side it isn't. Does it exist at all or do you have to go around to Savinjsko sedlo and then to Križ?

The path of course exists and is marked, on a big rock also marked in Mrzli dol, where you turn up to the scree.

Hi, on Friday I plan to sleep at Kamniško sedlo. Next day I intended towards Rinke. I noticed the trail is closed, only option descend to Okrešelj? thanks for replies and good luck.

The best is to descend to Okrešelj. Maybe it's best to descend already on Friday and sleep there. Next day you can start the tour with immediate ascent instead of descent Good luck

How is it with the fixed protections? I heard the trail is officially closed due to damaged protections at the top of the secured section.

According to data from Jezersko, the upper part of the trail is a bit worse. It should still be passable. A bit more caution Good luck

The keeper of Kranjska koča na Ledinah says the trail is closed for preventive reasons - in the upper part some loose pegs. Hikers still use it. As Redbull wrote - a bit more caution. If someone was up in the last few days, a pic of that part or extra info would be welcome. Good luck.

Užitkar, the direct trail from Kamniško sedlo to Rinke via kotliči is irrevocably closed as it was washed away and still being repaired, so descent to Okrešelj then ascent via Turski Žleb is unavoidable. To Rinke no issues, but you didn't say where from Rinke. Trail from Rinke to Ledine is also shaken and officially closed but still walked. Don't know your technical preparation, maybe better descend via Žmavcarje back to Bistrico.

The trail from Rinke to Ledine is also all ruined and officially closed, but people still walk it. I don't know how technically prepared you are; maybe it's better to descend via Žmavcarje back to Bistrico. Eh? https://stanje-poti.pzs.si/stanje.php Official sources say nothing like that ...
