There is a notice. True, but only at the cargo cable car station for Ledine; if coming from any other direction, you can't know. It is indeed in pretty bad condition. Many pegs hang loose on the cable. For an (experienced) individual, generally no big trouble, for a group absolutely not, because everything falls down, often you can't step without triggering some scree.

Thanks everyone for the answers, the car will be in Logar Valley, so the descent will be back towards Okrešelj. But probably plan B will be carried out if the path through Kotliče is being repaired, so this tour would wait for better times?

I went yesterday along the ferrata from Ledine to Koroška Rinka and was really surprised that it's officially disbanded. I didn't see the sign at the cable car station, maybe because it was still dark or maybe it's no longer there. Also at Kranjska koča it didn't say the path was closed. Only at one of the junctions towards Savinjska sedla there was a red paper with a warning that the path is no longer officially supervised and use is at your own risk. At the next junction again without warning... Since the PZS website also didn't say the path was closed, I went along it anyway. Problems are only near the top and at least one spot is seriously problematic because it's slightly overhanging and without wire or peg you can't get through. After this first critical point, the pegs are pulled out at almost all wires, but with some climbing knowledge it's possible to do the path to the top without using the protections. Since I was completely in the zone, I forgot to take pictures of the damaged path... Does anyone know since when the protections have been in such bad condition or if it's officially disbanded (if at all), as I know the path has always been threatened with damaged protections in the past.

Hi I also went yesterday to Koroška Rinka and yes, the notice about the path not being maintained is only at the saddle. But it's not true that the pegs are pulled out at almost all wires... I only noticed two and even that wasn't critical. Otherwise it said on the paper that it's at your own risk, right????

The feeling of danger is subjective. The condition of the path could be entered on the PZS web portal. But the information should be posted at more than one place, which is only visible if you go directly from the direction of Ravenska Kočna. Also at the top of Križ there was no information about the disrepair of the path.

Thanks Jany, It was really a wonderful weekend. I forgot to attach photos from the Turški žleb. I can say the path is without problems except in the upper part where there's scree for export... Probably the hardest part of Turški žleb

Hi. From Ravenska kočna three variants are described. Slovenska pot, path through Žrelo and Lovska pot. Which one do you think is most suitable for ascent and which for descent. Thanks

Up via Slovenska or through Žrelo, down via Lovska.
