Drago and others. Of course they have state support no matter who's in power. They'd probably have the same support if these measures were less "draconian". Already two/three years ago when it hinted what would happen, I agreed order was needed but I feared exactly this would happen, which is now. And state would likely support local sheriffs too if they managed visits just by relieving most visited spots and not tailoring access to tourists (whom we still persistently invite despite all chaos) local privileged and those going "once a year to Triglav". If they have balls let them leave ramps and counters, at parking fee put one 0 (zero) side and that's it. Let them collect that difference so as visitor you don't feel sheared like a sheep but satisfied and full come home. That's the art. Tourist base wanting to experience Slovenia once isn't infinite. Somehow that unfortunate/stupid statement repeats in my head come to Bled in autumn when no tourists... then corona came.

I didn't mean state support, which we know what it's like. Dependent on current government.
Mainly about politics selecting mayors. Can't influence much here except by boycotting services. But locals can, to whom they offer reliefs. And it suits them if less traffic.

Maribor radar scenario wouldn't be bad... but if politicians already corrupt I'm max disappointed in PZS leadership.... which does nothing for Slovenian hiker paying membership...
