We can forget about them, they won't do anything because they're doing fine. It's like with politicians, just sweet talk, important that they're doing well but the base doesn't concern them. We three also have long avoided crowded valleys and parking lots. There are still plenty of beautiful paths. Anyway, time will show how many people will pay high parking fees in the future. From what I heard, foreigners are already turning away because it's too expensive for a family. Some time ago, I accidentally listened to an interview with the Kranjska Gora sheriff lady. Just about hikers' discounts. She said: No discounts for them. Same for all. It's not clear to me how the state road to Vrata valley passed to municipal?

PZS rests on the past and is losing prestige. It does almost nothing for its members. Let's ask ourselves, whose property are the marked hiking trails. The organization is not up to the present day. Regarding free access to trails, it's a long lost battle, if it ever was one. We'll have to direct the money for membership fees to toll payments instead. When there is no longer such numerous membership, there will also be no money for PZS salaries, and maybe then something will change.

That show I watched some time ago. Instead of limiting accesses, they should rather introduce paid rescue from the mountains or mandatory insurance. Insurers will make a selection of whom they will reimburse the costs , reduced safety would deter many. Meanwhile tourist organizations promote safe tours to our mountains. If you watched Tarča yesterday, Černuta was quite good to me when he partially described how it goes. About PZS and TNP there's no point wasting words

They try to impose many things on us. Especially traders and lately especially municipalities with parking fees for entering nature, which is nobody's property, not even municipal officials', but everyone's right. Under the pretext of environmental protection and "all for your safety" they have so far accepted all decisions that do not serve the people but introduce control. All imposed parking fees are just a commercial offer that you can accept or not. True, by refusing payment we extend the path to the starting point or just don't go where profit is at the expense of hikers who just want to enjoy nature. Perhaps we lack unity to succeed, because if there was no money in the cash registers the other side would be forced to lower or withdraw the usurious prices. In Bohinj there is such an example of parking for entering Voje valley. Two years ago my wife and I after returning from Krsteniški Stog paid at the end of Stara Fužina 27 euros for 9 hours parking. Bohinj thus gets main tourism profit from parking fees. Probably we were there for the last time. Sad that in the end we are all people of the same country, only that these same citizens on one side do everything for that monthly income because "they're just doing their job" and are like soulless shells....There are always bright spots, there are still locations where mountaineers are still welcome.
