13.9. Savica Waterfall - Hut at Triglav Lakes - Zasavska hut and back the same way. 9h walking, 1600m ascent/descent, 22.5 km. Goal was to see ***all seven Triglav lakes*** (Black Lake, Double, Ledvica, Green, Brown pool and Lake below Vodnikov Dome) and return to start same day, which succeeded. Start at Savica Waterfall is best for all lakes. Extremely nice day, valley looked especially wonderful after yesterday's snow.

From left: Luknja, Vodnikov vršac and below it its lake, Poprovec, Vršaki, Zadnji Vogel, Malo Špičje.11
Along the path. Due to increased water flow, the choice was wetting the feet or a short scramble around. Up chose the latter, down the former.12
For the end, also a rainbow.13

30.01 From hut at Savica to hut at Triglav Lakes via Komarča. Path via Komarča snow-free to top. From Black Lake on, conditions for winter gear.
Someone before me walked same path to Triglav Lakes Hut. From there trodden to Prehodavci or Komna. Weather perfect mežikanje

Hello,

on Wednesday I'm heading to the Triglav Lakes and I'm interested if anyone knows the conditions? Which path do you recommend (the easiest)?

Thanks for the answer.

Given the question, I advise you to wait a bit for dry conditions and pick another tour for Wednesday. No hard feelings.

Does anyone else know how to advise on the route? Better to go from Planina Blato or Koča pri Savici?

The first reply was very friendly and correct. If you have to ask, don't go. If you're so brave and skilled that you'll go anyway, you don't need to ask.

Technically and fitness-wise it's easier from Planina Blato.

If you go anyway then try from Blato over Prode, NOT over Štapce (there you might turn back if you see how it is with snow, there might be compacted snowdrifts, maybe just a meter but still VERY dangerous to cross) there's quite some new snow on old base and trudging isn't exactly a walk, below it's partly compacted, icy and requires a bit more experience zavijanje z očmi

I've gone in winter already over Komna, Planina Blato, Vogar and Komarča. In all cases the path was completely dry at start, then more and more snow, so in the end I was trudging knee-deep in snow. Once from Črno jezero onwards it sank up to my waist. Nothing significantly better over Komna. Now I'd take snowshoes with me.
And if you've never been there, it could happen that you'll miss the path in the snow even over Štapce.

Your last sentence confirms what SamoK and climber advised him. Obviously he hasn't walked there in this season yet; therefore now is not a suitable time for searching the path and asking how and where.
