Bad weather and especially (non-)views contributed to ending the tour already at Double Lake. We went there via Štapce (nothing special), back via Prode, pl. Ovčarija and pl. Viševnik (extremely lots of mud on several parts of the path, especially right from the lake and then from pl. Viševnik towards Planina pri jezeru). No way around it, gotta repeat it asapnasmeh.
At Planina by the lake the mists were still fairy-tale like1

Symposium on the 90th anniversary of Triglav Lakes protection brought us again to the beautiful Triglav Lakes valley.
Lots of interesting facts about formation, composition, history, flora and fauna we learned. Weather for a tour next day wasn't favorable though.
Still we went to Prehodavci. Path to Ledvička is very muddy and slippery. Last hour rain soaked us and at Prehodavci we waited good two hours till it eased. Clouds didn't clear anyway, so hope for any peak in this area was offmrk pogledjezen.
We climbed towards Hribarice and via pass under Vršak to sedlo Vrata. Pass is rocky in steepest parts, snow crossed only at two spots without slope and slip risk.
Return to planina Blato via valley behind Kopica and Fužinarske planine.

Hi!
Does anyone know if there's snow on the path from Planina Blato to Koča pri Triglavskih jezerih?

Yesterday's trip to Triglav Lakes was nice and sunny. Early morning heavily foggy though, but once fog lifted and sky cleared, the valley showed its true beauty.

On Saturday with a friend we set off at 23.00 from Planina Blato to the hut at the double lake. Without the moon's help, without encounters with forest dwellers, over Štapce, at 01:40 at the hut already opening the deserved beer.
In the morning we lent a helping hand with the hut cleanup and closing.

At eleven arrival of the packhorses and together with supply staff slowly back.

In short, excellent!!mežikanje

Has anyone been hiking these days after snowfall around here? Curious about road passability to Blato and maybe snow conditions further towards Zasavska koča and Kanjavecnasmeh

Yesterday we visited the Hut at Triglav Lakes, via the path from the Hut at Savica Waterfall through Komarča. The path is dry. A little caution won't hurt in Lopučnica Valley due to slippery rocks on the path, because the sun currently doesn't reach in there. A couple more snapshots....

Yesterday I went from Planina Blato through the Triglav Lakes valley to Prehodavci. Towards the end of the path there are some snowy passages here and there, requiring a little caution late afternoon when the snow softens, otherwise (for now) without any problems.

Hi,

I'm wondering if someone can exactly write or attach a link where the entire path through the Triglav lakes is described? Meaning I can see all seven in one day.
Everywhere I read, I can't find a concrete description how to all lakes ... nasmeh.

Where is the best starting point?

Thanks in advance mežikanje

Rozca, for mountain choices on Julijci you have Zasavska Hut at Prehodavci, where you have exact descriptions of all paths to the end of Triglav Lakes valley.

I would definitely choose start in Stara Fužina to Planina Blato, where you leave the car. They charge toll for this road-last year it was 10 euros. I don't know if they already charge toll at this time. The road is asphalted to the turnoff for Planina Vogar, then turn right on gravel to parking at Planina Blato-about 800 meters of gravel. Then to Planina Pri Jezeru-one hour, then Planina Dedno Polje-half hour, to Planina Ovčarije-three quarters hour. Here is crossroads-left path goes over Prode, which I recommend more than right over Štapce. In a good hour we are at the Hut at Triglav Lakes.Of course, if you go this path you won't see Black Lake, because you can see it only if you go from Savica over guarded Komarča, which I don't recommend for this time.Over Komarča it's safer a month later. From Double Lake you have then two hours walk through the entire valley to Prehodavci, where you see the remaining two lakes. I don't know how much snow there is from Planina Blato. Anyway there is snow throughout the Triglav Lakes valley. Winter gear is mandatory-I mean mainly crampons.

If the weather is nice it will be beautiful! Safe path!

There is also a variant to go from Ovčarije along the valley to Kopica and over the pass to Zasavska Hut at Prehodavci. Then descend the Triglav Lakes valley all the way to the last Black Lake, from there along the path to Planina Viševnik and on to Planina pri Jezeru and to the car at Planina Blato. That's quite a long variant and it makes sense to overnight at Prehodavci or in the Hut at Triglav Lakes. Very nice tour! Regards

The path to Kopica is surely still snowy. From the pass onwards to Prehodavci there are quite steep scree slopes that are surely snowy now and at least in the morning hours icy. For two years in a row I take this path on July 12. The year before last the snow was soft, last year icy-very dangerous. For this path you need to know how to use ice axe, not to mention good crampons.

On 28.5. there was about half a meter over Prode and Štapce in certain sections but mostly packed so it didn't sink. I think the path will be dry by around 15.6.
