I'm curious about the trail from pl. Blato to 7j, is there still any snow up there and how much? Is the hut already open? Thanks.

Today on it. Hut closed, lots of snow, morning better because at least no pure sliding under snow. Tracks melt quickly, so from D. field onwards I recommend knowing the path.

The hut will open only in June.

Snow starts already before pl. At the lake there is still quite a bit - even several meters. Higher only more. Štapci are dry though, where the chain is. At double lake and down the valley still huge snow, so I think the hut will open later this year.

On 2.5. we returned from Prehodavci down 7J valley. Pictures:

path to climbing route still uncleared and difficult. Snow towards Black Lake and then to hut at Triglav Lakes still quite some. Hut still closed.

This weekend they'll be at the hut already, where maintenance starts, at least 14 days ago warden had such info...how supplied dunno mežikanje

On Sat and Sun us snails treated to wonderful trip to Triglav lakes. Up over Prode to hut, afternoon also to Ledvica. Next day over Štapci back to Planina Blato and swim in cold Bohinj lake. Weather esp Sunday great, plenty hikers, hut at lakes full, to Ledvica still partly frozen plenty packed snow from avalanches. Anyway all agreed one of nicest routes in our mountains. Gotta repeat some autumn when larches yellow.

Weekend perfect for visiting seven lakes. Start at Planina Blato, via Prehodavci (over prode) all way to Zasavska hut.

I also went yesterday to Prehodavci but from Savica, on the way back I visited the Savica spring, there was a huge amount of water...but I forgot or lost the Julian Alps eastern map, at the hut by the seven outside on the upper bench, I doubt any of our portal guys found it..probably taken to Czech. ...otherwise nice tour as it wasn't too hot, at times even too cold...

On 8.9.2014 I set off for a hike to Triglav Lakes. I started the trail from Savica waterfall and continued via Komarča, Black Lake, lake, Lopučnica valley to Double Lake, and along Triglav valley to Lidvič Lake. Then I returned back to the hut and to the top of Mt. Tičarica for great views and beauties of Triglav Lakes and valleys. Then descend to the hut and back via Komna to the starting point. The day was perfect for visiting mountains. Hikers came from all directions from foreigners to locals. So yesterday Triglav hut had good attendance. nasmeh

With my son we did a two-day trip on the trail Savica - Komarča - Triglav Lakes Valley - Prehodavci (sleep) - Triglav Lakes Valley - Komna - Savica.
