Good 4 hours to Zasavska hut + 5 hours, together a good 9 hours walking, if also M. Tičarica then together 11 hours.

True, the time from Koča pri Savici to Prehodavci is 5 hours if ascending, for descent 4 hours will be enough. Best regards.

We'd go to Bohinjska Bistrica by train, then by bus. Where does the bus go or where do we get off if we want via Komarča to the lakes? What are the connections?

As far as I remember, the local bus line from B. Bistrica goes to Hotel Zlatorog at the end of Bohinj Lake towards Savica, and further you'll have to go on foot ... mežikanje

Likewise all intercity buses to Bohinj go to Hotel Zlatorog ...

From Hotel Zlatorog to Koča pri slapu Savica it's about one hour walk and about 150 m elevation gain, there is a marked path over HE Savica, don't go on the asphalt road that leads to Koča Savica ...

Hello!

21-22 September I did the Valley of Triglav Lakes. Direction from Planina Blato at 6.50 via Štapce, then up the valley to Zasavska hut. Due to intermediate photographing the route took a full 11 hours (arrival at 18.00). Then continued shooting until 1am. Next day departure at 9.00 with ascent to the saddle under Zelnarica and further down the valley behind Kopica towards Planina Ovčarija. Arrival at the hut by the lake at 15.00.

Yesterday, 19.10.2013, was a wonderful day. Ideal for admiring the autumn colors and beauties of the Triglav Lakes.

Start from Planina Blato (tolls not collected at 6am), then to Ovčarija via Pl. Viševnik and over Štapce to Koča pri Triglavskih jezerih. Rest and on to Zasavska koča na Prehodavcih. Followed by enjoying the view of Kanjavec, Zelnarica, Tičarica, Razor, Mangart, Triglav and in the distance also Hochalmspitze.

Return planned via Kopica to Dedno polje, but due to winter conditions on that path we already decided at Prehodavci that it would wait for us. Return same way to Koča pri Triglavskih jezerih with intermediate lying on grass and admiring larches around Ledvička nasmeh

, then over Prode to Ovčarija and over Dedno polje back to Pl. Blato. Total 11 hours.

On Friday and Saturday in these areas with a group, Afternoon over Komarča to 7 Lakes sleep in winter room (upper apartment was ours) On Saturday the older part of the group also to Kopica and Mala Tičarica. Then over Ovčarija, Dedno polje Pl. pri Jezeru to Vogar, where we recharged (Laško) batteries at Dolenc (recommend) Weather wonderful on Saturday also a bit windy, at 7j. met a nice couple who next day drove the drivers to Savica for cars thanks again. There were ten of us and most overnighted in winter room for the first time, nevertheless all were enthusiastic about the tour, so thanks to all for participation and nice company. mežikanje

Apparently several of us have decided in the last days to visit the wonderful Triglav Lakes nasmeh

Autumn colors are really wonderful. Larches especially in the morning just glow in the sun nasmeh

We did the path really very "easy" cool

. From Dedno polje, over Ovčarija and over Prode we went along the Triglav Lakes valley only to the end of the forest line, so a bit beyond Ledvička lake.

After a long time back at Triglav Lakes. And I managed in two days to do both ridges, the ridge of Lepi Špič towards Prehodavci, and back over Zelnarice, Kopica and Tičarica. We slept in the winter room at Prehodavci, which is completely renovated now looks space-like (hats off to PD Radeče), and it's really a pleasure to sleep there (unlike the old winter one which was previously more pigsty than winter room). Apart from us, on the way to Koča Triglavskih jezer there were some day-trippers and hikers, and further none. On Saturday the weather was really wonderful, sunny, hot. Sunday morning too, then strong west wind blew, around noon brought clouds and in the afternoon weather worsened, and down Komarča a little rain washed us. Views wonderful, in the Triglav Lakes valley real autumn colors, which unfortunately I can't capture with my idiot (Canon for 100 EUR). In short, nice two-day autumn tour, real enjoyment for those who like solitude in the mountains. And pictures follow ....
