marky. bivouac is fine, but of course high chance it's full.. you also have option to sleep in car in Vrata valley. But check the weather, forecast isn't the best, or rather looks shitty...

You can also sleep in Aljažev dom in Vrata.

Marky, since I see you're young and if you have average fitness, best to sleep well at home, start at 3 from home and do the tour nicely in 8-9 hours no problem. You'll have plenty time for photos in between.

Yeah, I know weather looks kinda bad, so gotta wait till last moment and go nasmeh
#Keko.. to be honest nothing wrong with driving back and forth, but much prefer sleeping somewhere (bivouac, hut, cottage...) and waking up at start point in morning. True though they say Saturday morning still stable weather, meaning start from trailhead at 4/5 won't escape me.

Thanks anyway for every tip nasmeh

Tell me, ignorant, what is the culture of sleeping by the car in Vrata. Because the idea of arriving evening and sleeping by the car, then very early on trail appeals to me too. Of course assuming I leave surroundings clean, or at least as it was before I came.

Take 0.5l-1l of coffee with you and you won't be sleepy all day, I slept 2 hours last night, morning coffee and no problems I was awake all day or you stop somewhere on the way and sleep peacefully.

I don't know how smart it is to sleep in the car the last night before a strenuous and demanding hike. I'd rather sleep in my Dormeu, even if I get up at some inhuman hour, like 3.30 in the morning. velik nasmeh

Super advice, LG. mrk pogled

jesihar, overnighting at organized parking lots (Vrata, Krma, Kot ...), I don't recommend. Checks at such places are quite often done, followed by fines.

Jesihar, if you're PZS member you have sleep at Aljažev dom for 10€, which to me doesn't seem a problem, or does it?
Personally I'd rather give 10€ and sleep well. True though, if there's a bivouac on the way, I'd rather sleep there nasmeh

Late afternoon or evening even in this dog heat cools down a bit and it's nice to hike for two-three hours. Around the bivouac (if full) there's quite some flat ground and nothing beats sleeping under stars and waking to dewy morning. And you're halfway already. Yes, if it pours at night, in bivouac (even when fullest) there's always space. Hide sleeping gear somewhere and pick up on return ... Tried as described many times at different bivouacs in different situations. Felt good to me even when sleeping bag turned into submarine in moments. True, we're different ... nasmeh
