No, the avalanche poured ahead from Aljažev dom. The path to the bivouac remained undamaged.

On Tuesday to Škrlatica from Vrata, past bivouac IV. A bit below bivouac still snowfield, crossable with crampons or side variant on dry, then to bivouac dry, from bivouac a bit good passable snow, then dry again, snow starts under Škrlatica but nicely passable, doesn't sink, ridge path dry, under summit a couple snow-covered traverses, summit dry, good to have ice axe, putting some pics up... lp

Due to forum advice I decided instead of Montaz to go easier trip, to skrlatica. Today morning already very early (3:30) from Vrata. Conditions practically same as previous report. Crampons and ice axe not needed, not even morning, as snow no longer freezes. If choose path from Pogacnik's think winter gear necessary, as under red skrbina (that steep scree above last valley) still all fully snowed.

Maybe someone knows what the current conditions are on that scree under Rdeča škrbina? Or if there's any chance to cross it without winter gear soon.

There are three but passable, first a little before the bivouac, second under Dolkova špica - mostly you go along the edge of the snowfield, the last before the top of the last couloir (big boulder) from there on it's all clear.

Now the route from Pogačnikov dom is also passable without winter gear, some small snow patches left but no problem. Ascent to Rdeča škrbina and descent from it is great. No one replied so I went to check myself.

Hello. Today between 11.15 and 13.30 at the entrance to the Skrlatica wall someone mistakenly took my Tehnomat trekking poles. Please call me at 031/724-262 to arrange the return.
Thanks and best regards

Yesterday I set off for Skrlatica. Start at half past four from Vrata. Walked all the way in shade, real meeting with sun only at the top. Continued the route over Dolkova špica to Kriški podi. After short break then descent over Sovatna where it was already quite hot to the start.

Nice... This ascent awaits me in the coming days. I'm curious if there are any peculiarities on the path and how is the descent towards Dolkova špica and then down to the saddle under Križ? Thanks for the info...

@katty: Wait until this heat passes, because carrying 3-4l of liquid with you is a drop in the bucket. I myself drank 4l of liquid today for those 5-6 hours. I had to stop every approx. 30 minutes and drink something. I hiked on the S side and this tour to Škrlatica and Križ in these hot dayszadrega

I don't know why there always has to be someone who thinks they have to do something first no matter what. Even a cow turns away, it finds the whole thing really stupid.
