Since a "whole eternity" (12 days) had passed since I was last on Škrlatica and I got an invite from an ultra guy, I had to jump up anyway. We had the whole Škrlatica to ourselves (start 5.15)  Up some medium pace, not running cardio to max, 2h 52 to the summit, down scrambling, by south bivouac already home, short and sweet

There is snow on the path, winter gear from bivouac and back not needed.

Hello, I'm interested in the difference in difficulty of Aljažev dom v Vratih - Škrlatica compared to Koča pod slapom Rinka - Turska gora (through Turski žleb) - Kotliče - Kamniško sedlo - Koča pod slapom? We took less than 3h to the top of Turska gora, no problems. Before Škrlatica we plan to do a tour to Rinka (via ledine and back through Turski žleb). Thanks and LP

My opinion is that Škrlatica is technically a bit easier than listed, but more demanding fitness-wise.

total 17km 1994m elevation gain
