Yesterday we spent the day on Slemenova Špica. We chose a circular path from Tamar, up through Grlo and back to Tamar over Črne vode. The path to Grlo saddle leads us through a mighty gully, through which we find the path ourselves despite markers. But all effort at Grlo saddle is rewarded with a short break and chocolate attack . The path from the saddle leads through pleasantly cool forest, somewhat later a steep ascent by steel cable awaits, which causes no problems. By the path we refresh at pleasant spring, so rest of path to Sleme passes quickly. At Sleme drought, at least regarding ponds, as only mud left of them . Short ascent from Sleme and already at top of Slemenova Špica. After enjoying sun and proper snack we return to Tamar past Črnih vod. Path to gully wonderful, offers beautiful views, in gully we cool nicely in one of numerous pools. Descent through gully requires some caution, as path slippery due to water. Hut in Tamar offers real pleasure with cup of sour milk, ice cream and deserved coffee . A little more to car and beautiful Saturday ends.

Yesterday with better half first by bike from Kranjska Gora to Vršič, then walk to Slemenova Špica. At Vršič quite windy, while at top fairy-tale. No cloud, phenomenal views, in short for soul.
At top quite a lot of us, but I would highlight one family with Ljubljana accent, who for about one hour to the outrage of others yelled at about 20 sheep. That apparently was not enough, as at our departure they caught one, started riding it, lifting hind legs and pushing "wheelbarrow" with it. Luckily other sheep totally confused managed to escape. Really sad...
Ah, by the way, since this family immortalized all stupidities with photos, let them post some, so all see who these mountain lovers (and animals) are!

I would probably remind that Ljubljana family about proper behavior. Often people get outraged over everything possible, but get outraged among themselves.

Ugh, I wouldn't have been able to hold back from stopping them. That really gets my blood boiling. Unfortunately, such types don't know shame or guilt, even if you say something to them.

Well, we warned them, but they ignored us completely. In the end they acted almost like we were the stupid ones...
Eh, no use, I really regret not photographing them. But I go to the mountains for myself not others, solely to "unplug", but it's really interesting what all you see...

Take advantage of these days, there's inversion in the mountains. Today due to lack of time I only popped to Slemenova Špica. Already around 7.30 it was 10 degrees C at Vršič... Down in the valley just above freezing. Later nice and warm autumn weather all the time. Practically always just in a t-shirt
