Thanks to both! Today I went to check myself too - all dry! Unfortunately on Stenar strong wind from the coastal side was driving fog to Gorenjska. No views at all, only occasionally Triglav and Škrlatica showed up. As if in mockery it cleared around 12:00 (of course already without me on top).

Today I sadly turned back at Stenar Gates. I got to a spot with a 2 m jump and couldn't find passage ahead. Crumbly and full of scree, and locals sent down barrages of rocks at me. So I turned around. The scree didn't seem too bad to me, but you have to be very persistent, to the "wall" I took 2 hours 15. Back slowly. I'll be glad if experts write here or private message where the passages are or where I messed up. Thanks in advance.

Flora, where you turned right you should have gone left. You'd see old markings and some ironware. If you try again just look around yourself, it's true the right fork looks illogical and that misled you regards

... I meant to say the fork to "left" looks illogical , but it's the right one

Thanks. Did you mean to write that the right fork looks logical? Do I get you right? Should I have gone like this?

I mean it seemed obviously logical to you because the path turns left at a right angle for some meters then up again to the gates ... you drew it pretty well

On Saturday morning we set off from Vrat via Sovatno to Stenar. The path is nice, marked, easy, on Stenar nice view all around, towards Razor, Pihavec, Triglav, Križ, Škrlatica , Kriški podi..., where we slept in Pogačnikov dom, and from there next day continued towards Škrlatica.

Thanks. It will be more about the head, because today there were about 11 hours of walking/running. What will be tomorrow, I don't know. I can't imagine how Klemen manages it, with average stages of 60-90 km with 3000-4000 m elevation gain. Otherwise, the descent from Stenarska vrata in summer (at least for me) is a really nasty thing. All kugl lagerji - you really need to be careful.

@Zvončnica, the flower on the eighth picture is not Zois bellflower

@dusi, what about this last one?

Not that either, Zoisova is always closed, doesn't open, probably alpine though

Just a small note: the genus is not zvončNice (as it sounds more familiar to most of us) but zvončice (without N).
