Today from Pristava along the road over Pusti Rovt to Planina Svečica, for more there weren't the best conditions today. New snow about 10 cm. With two other hikers we made a track with snowshoes, which new snow and wind have probably already covered. But at these heights it's real winter - like it was in our young days.

Where today in nice weather? Solution is nearer mountain Struška to me, which in winter has nice and safe path. From Betel over Markljeva planina and road to Svečica, then to top. Conditions to shout about, huge snow, and quite some visitors. I the only one with snowshoes, without walking would be very hard - put them on already at Markljeva.

Belska planina, Veliki vrh, Ptičji vrh, sedlo Suha...On Belska planina everything is blooming. Also on the slope towards Struška and on the top at the container.
I descended along the border path towards sedlo Kočna. On the slope towards kotanji there's still a lot of snow. Road at the start of Pusti Rovt has deep cracks, but they drive on it. Towards sedlo Suha it's nicer. Also Ptičji vrh is all in flowers, little roses everywhere, nice.

Yes, we two also admired flowers on Struška today. Gorgeous, despite bad weather, at half past one we hurried before rain and hail.

Bravo Roman!! Very nice and flowery path you chose and captured it wonderfully through the lens, both "macro" and "panoramic". Just a few more descriptions missing for a full 10.!
Always take the camera with you and "report" again sometime!

Today on Struška specifically from Savske jame via Marklova planina and Kočna saddle on marked path, descent from Svečica on road. Snow starts on Marklova, more snow to the top, but path is made so no problems at all.

I was there on Sunday and the wind blew pretty hard from Svečica to the summit and back up from Jesenice via Savske jame, back to Javorniški rovt and over planina Dole back to Jesenice. Solid hike

Nice circular tour. Started at Trilobit hut, over planina Seča on border path to top. Little snow, blown to ground, some drifts to knees. I erred and turned right at top. Among bushes and gullies sank over knees. Track on border only to shepherd hut. Detoured to Ptičji vrh and via Markljev rovt to start. Road to Križevec smooth as glass, still five cars parked. Whole tour with four breaks six hours.
